WARNING: use of knives

The first thing Mitch does after dinner is send Scott away to work with Kirstie.

Scott protests, of course, but Mitch is insistent, and Scott eventually gives in.

With Scott safely gone, Travis decides it's the perfect time to strike. He sidles up to Mitch, who scurried ahead but wasn't quick enough, and smirks. "Can we talk privately? I want to apologize," Travis says loudly, making sure Mrs. Grassi, who is nearby, can hear him. Mitch tries desperately to catch his mother's eye, to let her know that he does not want to talk, but she avoids his gaze, keeping her eyes trained on the floor. Sighing and biting his lip nervously, Mitch looks back up at Travis and nods. "Yeah. We can go to my room," he says softly. Travis smiles sickeningly sweetly and roughly grabs Mitch's arm, yanking him up to his own room.

Mitch really starts to get scared when Travis slams the door and locks it.

The soft click resounds loudly in the silence.

Travis immediately slams Mitch against the door, roughly kissing him. Mitch squeaks with surprise and tries to push him off, but fails, only succeeding in getting his arms pinned above his head. Travis pulls away and throws Mitch to the floor. Mitch is quick to push himself as far away from Travis as he can get, but he's not quick enough. Travis quickly scoops him up and throws him onto the bed this time. Mitch hits his head on the headboard, and Travis smirks as he hears the thump. He crawls onto the bed and pins Mitch underneath him, though it really isn't necessary. Mitch isn't resisting.

He's given up.

Travis hurries to start unbuttoning Mitch's shirt, ice cold fingers feeling like the fingers of Death himself as they glide along Mitch's skin. Mitch turns his head to the side so Travis can't see his tears as Travis quickly finishes with his shirt and yanks Mitch up so he can toss it to the side.

Travis traces the crossed scars, smirking. "You're mine," he growls, and Mitch whimpers, trying to escape his grip. However, Travis just smirks. "Want me to bring that slave of yours in here?" he whispers, and Mitch immediately stops struggling, frantically shaking his head. "N-no. Don't hurt him," he whimpers, but Travis simply grins evilly. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe I will." More shaking and pleading. "No. Please. Don't touch him." Travis gets off of Mitch and walks to the door like he's about to summon Scott, but Mitch quickly gets off the bed and runs to block him.

"Please. I'll do anything."

Travis smirks. "That's what I was waiting to hear. On the bed. Now."

Mitch hurries to obey, hastily sitting on the bed and chewing his lip nervously as he waits for Travis. Travis is on him almost immediately, kissing him roughly and already straining to pull his pants off.

Mitch sobs pathetically, but doesn't struggle. Do it for Scott.

Scott chews his lip anxiously, waiting for Jessa to give him another order. She's currently talking to Kirstie, her back turned to Scott.

Scott jumps as he hears a loud thud from upstairs in Mitch's room, and it takes all he has not to rush up there and give Travis a piece of his mind.

Finally, Jessa gives him something to do, and he rushes to do it to get his mind off of Mitch.

However, halfway through his dusting of the paintings lining the hallways, a loud scream rips through the silence. Scott feels his fists clench, and he throws the rag onto the floor, storming to Mitch's room. He's surprised to see no one headed there already; they all pass him with bowed heads and guilty expressions. However, the lack of backup doesn't stop him.

Scott reaches Mitch's door and hurriedly tries to open it, flinching as another scream comes from inside. He jiggles the handle, but the door won't budge. Whispering curses, Scott keeps trying, hoping his persistence will cause the door to give in.

Suddenly, the door flies open, and there stands Travis. He's blocking the view behind him, but Scott can hear loud sobs and small pleas. Travis looks annoyed, but when he sees who's standing there, a delighted smile lights up his features. "Ooh, Mitchie, look who came to visit," he says, grabbing Scott's wrist and yanking him inside.

Scott is horrified to see Mitch naked and covered with bruises on the bed, sobbing pathetically. However, when he sees Scott, he panics. "No. Let him go. Please," he says hoarsely, trying to get up, but Travis simply smirks. "You're boring," he says loudly, tightening his hold on Scott's wrist when he tries to escape. "No, slave. You're staying here," he adds, not even looking at Scott. "Stop hurting Mitch," Scott forces out, and Travis finally turns to look at him. "Mitch is my betrothed. I can do whatever I want with him," he says simply.

"If you run, I'll kill your precious master," he warns, holding up a knife, and Scott freezes. Travis smirks and lets go of Scott's wrist, going over to a bag in the corner and pulling out some rope. He comes over to the bed and throws Mitch some sweatpants. "Cover yourself. It's disgusting how you go around naked all the time," he sneers, and Mitch hurriedly puts them on, pulling them up just in time for Travis to roughly tie his wrists to the bedposts. Scott bites his lip nervously, but Mitch glances at him reassuringly. I'll be fine.

Travis then comes and pushes Scott to the floor, removing his shirt and ignoring Mitch's desperate pleas. Travis smirks down at him. "Are you going to be a good boy, or is your master going to have to mysteriously pass away of unknown causes?" he says softly, smiling sweetly. Scott gulps and keeps silent. Travis's smile curves into a smirk. "That's what I thought. Don't move or make a sound, slave." He forces Scott onto his back and pins him down, taking his knife and running it carefully along Scott's chest. Scott sucks in a breath, biting back a scream as a trail of blood follows the knife wherever it goes. Mitch, from his perch on the bed, can see it all, and is sobbing and crying and pleading. "Please, stop! No! Don't — don't hurt him! No! Please!" He's trying desperately to escape, but his wrists are tied tightly, and only succeeds in rubbing the skin around the ropes raw.

Travis eventually gets fed up with Mitch's screams and turns to him, snarling. "Shut up, you little sl*t," he hisses, throwing the knife with deadly accuracy. Scott's heart wrenches when it hits Mitch's stomach. The dyed-blonde screams, blood already pouring out of his wound. Scott does the only thing he can think of, grabbing a nearby book and slamming it into the back of Travis's head. The man crumples to the floor, unconscious.

Scott rushes to Mitch's side, not bothering to put his shirt back on, and quickly starts to untie Mitch's wrists. Mitch is still sobbing, but not as loud, the loss of blood making him weak. When Scott is done with his wrists, they fall pathetically to his sides. Scott hesitates for a moment, unsure what to do about the knife, but eventually just decides to leave it in, not wanting to damage his master more than he already is. Scott quickly scoops Mitch up, pressing an instinctive kiss to his forehead. "You're going to be alright, Master," he whispers, trying not to get too worried when Mitch starts to lose consciousness.

Scott hurries outside of Mitch's room with his master in his arms, ignoring the steady trickle of blood down his own bare chest. "Master, where is the hospital wing?" he asks quietly, trying to keep Mitch talking. Mitch laughs weakly. "Didn't Kirstie show you when you first got here?" he whispers, and Scott nods. "Yeah, but I'm trying to keep you talking," he says, hurriedly moving in the direction of the hospital wing. "That's no fun," Mitch murmurs, resting his head on Scott's shoulder and letting his eyes droop. "No, Master! Stay awake," Scott says desperately, ignoring all the bewildered and worried glances they're getting from the other slaves. Mitch's breathing shallows, and he forces one dark eye open. He stares at Scott for a second, his breathing getting shallower and shallower, before using the last of his fading strength and pressing his lips to Scott's.
