Chapter 8

This was just great I was stuck here with him for the whole ride no seats to move to and he wasn't leaving me alone he would look everywhere amazed that he was actually able to get on the plane asking me questions about the load capacity and why do they sell alcohol if people get sick easy on planes. I ended up buying 2 bottles of bourbon then 3 more then he started drinking as well we were only aloud 6 the whole day we would be on the plane and once we finished those we were both kind of tipsy he actually quietened down it was a much awaited break in the noise I'm sure other passengers were relieved as well it was night now and he looked at me as if he was going to bring up the dream and before he could I told him to sleep and once he was asleep I relaxed a little. Then as if on cue to say no u can't relax on this plane Caspian's head started relaxing on my chest and our hearts synced again this time I could hear his dreams as well as see and feel them but it wasn't the same this time it was me and him on the farm this morning I watched myself run off crying then I felt frustration, relief, anger, shame and confusion then I saw him punch the large oak tree leaving a mark on it and him yelling shit and ran straight for me the next thing I saw was me hiding in the tree and he saw me but he kept running why would he do that he even saw me get out and run he was hiding he kept following me he saw me grab my stuff and go to the airport and the only reason he was late was he needed my dad to give him his passport and tickets then he got on and saw me and I felt exactly what he felt he wanted to kiss me right there and when he saw me drinking and embarrassed he became embarrassed and nervous and started drinking as well then everything went black and as I was about to open my eyes I heard him speaking "you know it's not nice to come into my head you do realise this means war" and with that I felt a rush go through my head an instant it stopped he then said "now we are even and I understand more than I needed to know but that's good u do realise we can communicate without talking right our hearts are linked I can talk to u if I focus on u and imagine u next to me not very hard to do since u are and we have shifted so were embracing again see our bodies know what's good for us if only our brains knew." And with that I awoke and he was holding me ever so gently he wasn't asleep but his eyes are closed so I tried to move and he held me tighter he asked "why are you fighting this why is this so scary for you why did you want to do it alone and push me away when it could feel like this every day? "I asked him to let me go and my demeanour changed I didn't want to do this but I had to he wouldn't be happy living with me his feelings will change he will find someone more suited not someone who is a freak who killed a demon now can't get rid of this ability who knows what will happen and right now this was a bad idea so I just told him a lie I told him I was already married and he was at war he looked at me and laughed when he saw that I was serious he made me angry enough for him to believe it he then asked "do u feel the same about him as you do me? For him to not pop up in any of your dreams I read must mean one of two things u erased him from your life or you don't care enough to put him in any memories" I went quiet and started thinking about a wedding register with me and this guy but when I looked up it was Caspian how could I shake this feeling

I didn't want this emotions and with thatthought I felt serene like nothing bothered me and Caspian's face becameconcerned he knew something happened so he held me and saw it saw what I wassaying to myself and what I tried to do and he could feel my emotions weren'tthere it was then he did something I could only dream about we awoke from ourtrans and he looked me in the eyes then as if with no other option he slowlymoved closer but I didn't care I didn't feel anything that was until our lipsconnected and his electric touch shocked me back into reality and I slowlystarted to react my lips in sync with his hands cupping my face and holding ustogether our bodies were as one and we didn't stop then I took charge I let myemotions control me and I started making it more passionate I pulled away for asplit second looked at him and bit my lip and with that he pushes us backtogether this time he wasn't gentle it was fiery, passionate and exhilaratinghe held me closer to him I could feel the heat and warmth between us but Istopped it I couldn't do this I couldn't get so deep in not with him we willlead different lives and I couldn't tear him from that so I pulled away andalmost instantly he tried to pull me back it worked for a few small pecks then Istopped it again and he looked so pained as if he knew what I was going to sayand with that he turned around wrapped and blanket around me and him and said"only for this flight please pretend were together I just want to feel itfor a few more hours I know this can't be forever just give me tonightplease." I couldn't say yes and type of contact will just make it thatmuch harder to stop I said no and excused myself for the bathroom. I needed tocool down and freshen up we would be landing soon and I needed to be in topshape to defeat this contract it was a war and I was a messenger needed toavoid any more casualties
