At the end of the week, I cleaned out my locker for the very last time this year. I took down photos of Josh and I, concert tickets, photos from trips, and wiped down my locker. Luckily I had already taken home most of my belongings. All I had left was my study binder for finals and my backpack. Robyn had figured out that Josh and Alissa were dating as soon as Robin walked back in last Monday. Apparently we spoke really loud, so she knew that they were dating. Robyn was hurt, but she toughed it out well. I finished cleaning out my locker, throwing unnecessary things away. I couldn't believe that grade 11 was done and I was graduating next year. It was a surreal idea I just couldn't wrap my mind around. I finished cleaning and then closed my locker. I waited for Mihika who was taking forever to clean out her locker.
"What horrible explosion happened in your locker causing you to take forever?" I asked Mihika.
"Well I'm sorry not all of us are as neat and organized as you!" said Mihika.
I laughed and then helped Mihika. "Seriously, you need to organize more next year..."
"Maybe you can help me next time!"
"Sounds like a deal!"
I helped Mihika clean her locker and then we shut the door to the locker. Mihika had to walk back to her homeroom, so I walked down to the Robi/yn's.
"Hey, remember to find me after we get our food okay?" asked Mihika.
"Yeah, for sure!" I replied as I dropped Mihika off.
I walked down to the other section where the grade 11 lockers were.
"Oh hey!" I greeted Robyn as she stood at Robin's locker. "Where's Robin?"
"Oh, she went to go find some stuff to clean her locker..."
"Oh, okay..."
Robin walked back and I greeted her with a smile.
"Hey there!" said Robin in her usual cheery voice.
"Heyyooo!"
"Robin! You take forever!" complained Robyn.
"I'm sorry I'm trying to clean my locker!"
"Well clean it faster!"
Listening to the Robi/yn's banter was always so much fun. It made me excited to see what would happen in grade 12. Graduating with these two would be exciting, I don't think there would ever be a dull moment. Finally after about 5 minutes, Robin was done cleaning her locker.
"I have to go back up to Mrs S...." said Robin.
"Oh right...okay! See you later!" I said.
"Find me at lunch!"
"Will do!" said Robyn.
We all parted our ways, and Robyn and I walked to homeroom. We first walked to Mr. K's room, but nobody was inside. We decided to walk out to the music room to see if maybe Mrs. Y was incharge of us. I walked out the main doors and was blinded by the sun. I never knew June could be so bright and sunny. As we walked out to the portables, we passed starliament cooking hotdogs on the grill. Josh was among the boys making hotdogs. He was so cute today, wearing his typical slacks and then a red plaid shirt. He was wearing blue vans and had his RayBans hanging outside of his pocket. My boyfriend was so stylin', he was more stylin than me. I was wearing black leggings, a purple plaid shirt half buttoned over a black spaghetti strap, tan sandals, and my purple pair of raybans were hanging off the collar of my shirt. I guess we kind of matched, but not really. I looked at him, smiled and then walked away.
