Chapter 22: GNO

"We're finally done!" exclaimed Robyn as she jumped through the hallways excitedly.

Our last exam was finished, and summer was on. For the past 2 weeks, we had been studying hard core for our final and provincial exams. It was finally done though, and I felt so happy. The rest of my summer now consisted of me and Josh fitting in as many dates as possible, while still equally spending time with our friends. I walked upstairs and over to my locker. I slung my bag over my shoulder. I made sure I emptied out my locker and then shut it and grabbed my lock. I threw my lock into my bag and then stood beside Mihika. We were hanging out at Robyn's tonight as a final get together. Mihika finished getting her stuff, and then we walked down the stairs. I looked and Josh was standing at his locker grabbing his things. I walked over to Josh and wrapped my arms around him.

"Hey there beautiful! How'd your exam go?" he asked.

"So good! I knew everything on that provincial!"

"Good job! I knew I aced that!"

"Look who's getting a provincial scholarship! This girl!"

"I always knew this girl could do it!"

"I love you!"

"I love you too!"

Josh kissed me and then I heard a couple voices behind me.

"Keep the PDA to a minimum you two!" said William as he walked past and down to his locker.

I smiled and then hugged Josh.

"Are you coming to the party tonight?" asked Josh.

"Whoa! Party? This is the first I've heard of this!"

"They never asked you? Nadia's having a party tonight because we're done!"

"Oh...yeah I never got the invite..."

"Well you're getting yours now! Plus you live close by so it shouldn't be a problem! I'll let your parents know you'll be with me...just so they know you're safe..."

"Problem is I won't be home tonight, I've made plans to hang out at Robyn's tonight, I don't know how long I'll be... we're having our own get together!"

"Oh, okay, well you can't always be with me...and I don't want to steal you away from your friends!"

"As long as no one steals my boyfriend away, I'll be fine!"

"Don't worry, no one's taking me away because I'll be with you all summer!"

I smiled and kissed Josh on the cheek.

"I have to go, Robyn's waiting behind me and I feel like she's gonna strangle me if I don't leave now!"

"Okay, bye! I'll phone you later!"

"Okay, bye!"

I walked off and towards my friends. We walked down to the bus and then bussed to Robyn's house. Halfway through, I got a text from Josh.

Boy do I ever suck at driving...

Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it!

You're just saying that cause you can drive...

Look, all I'm saying is that it comes with practice! The more you practice, the easier it becomes!
