Chapter 15:The Mist



About 2 years ago (Misty is almost 15)

Aiden's POV

"Aideeen"Gretchen cried.I walked over to her

"Yes Gretchen"I said looking at her big brown eyes.She looked innocent in that moment.

"We have to plan some serious things for Homecoming.What are you wearing?What colour is it?What colour is the flower you got me?How are we getting there?"

"Gretchen breath"I said putting my hands on her shoulder

"Tux black Pink Limo"I answered.She smiled


"Good"she smiled.

'She is such a handful'I thought

'Just break up with her'Clifford sent

'It's not that easy I need an excuse'I said

'True'Clifford agreed

'Maybe you can tell her you found your mate wait she's human.Tell her You love someone else.'he said

'But no girl would agree to be my fake mate/ love'I said

"No. Reason one she is Dylan's sister.Two she hates me Three that one kid Darrel is taking a liking to her"I counted it out of my finger.

"Oh and When she comes back she'll probably find her mate"I said.Clifford nodded

"What's my prize"I asked.Cliffor folded his arms

"You don't have to do any training for a month"Clifford said

"So She comes back tomorrow so good luck"he said

"Sweetheart"my Mum called.I hopped out of bed and went downstairs.My dad had his arms wrapped around my mom.

"Ugh"I said covering my eyes.

"Don't act like you haven't seen it before"My dad huffed.She giggled

"Not this early"I groaned.I sat down and ate my breakfast as usual.I walked out the door with a smile on my face

"Love you Aiden make good choices"My mom shouted

"Love you too and always do"I said.Getting into my car.I picked up Clifford first.I drove to Misty's house to pick her up

"Dude Dylan's taking her to school today"

"He is in town now huh"I said

"Yea"

"It's been a whilst since i've seen him"

"Yeah a two months"

"Yep"Clifford popped the P. I made a U turn and drove to school.

"Do you remember our deal"Clifford said

"Yeah Perfectly."I sighed.Misty was a wolf now like us It means she could shift but it also meant she was strong right now and I was about to flirt with her on her first day back.

It's a suicide mission itself but the quicker the better.

"Hey Dylan"I greeted.I gave him the usual half five

"How's it been"he chuckled

"Good asshole and you"I joked.Dylan and I were good friends,not as close as clifford.O saw flaws in Dylan that I just couldn't ignore.He was kind of a jerk to Misty and that sucks.

"Good so where is the new wolf"I asked

"Talking to that kid Farley"

"Clifford said it was Darrel"I said

"Clifford is horrible with names"Dylan said lightly punching my arm.

"I'm going to congratulate the new wolf.If thats okay?"I asked

"By Lachowski's classroom"he said.I walked toward Lachowski's classroom

"Hey Aiden"Gretchen said.

"Hey Uhh"I looked away.Maybe if I put Misty on the spot it would work on the spot it.

"We are over"I blurted.Her face dropped and she started laughing

"Very funny Aiden"she said

I walked toward.I saw Darrel/Farley's face laughing toward a blonde back.As I neared close something was off.I could feel it,my heart raced fast and my senses were heightened.I smelled Strawberrys.I looked around to see anyone eating there breakfast.

"Misty"I called.Seeing that kid talking to her peeved me off.Seeing him in general peeved me off.

"Yeah"she said turning around.I dropped my shit into the floor and she did the same thing.Her hair slightly blowed in the wind and Farley looked confused.


Misty's POV

"Hey Misty it's very Misty today"Farley said smiling. Farley was a cool kid and I think I liked him a little.I needed to get my mind off Aiden I mean it's been a whilst.He is older and he thinks I hate him.He has always been nice to me but I couldn't help but fight it

My Mum once told me to play hard to get.

And plus my wolf has been acting all crazy this morning,maybe it because i' home

"So hey umm well since you're bak and there is a part this weekend is was kinda wondering"

"Hey Misty"I heard a deep chilling voice.Very familiar but somehow different.

"Yeah"I said spinning around on my combat boots which made a squeal all the way around.When I finished my spin I looked up from my boots and dropped my books.

"Darrel can you excuse Misty and I"he said.

"Because you hate me and let's face it i'm younger"

"Well I have to go"I said walking to class.I ran to class as fast as wolf possible.I sat in Chemistry class

"Okay to start off the year we are going to have someone to present their favourite elements on the periodic table."The teacher said.I kept tapping my desk,just then Aiden bursted into the door.

"How are you in chemistry"He panted.He walked up the the teacher out of breath.

"Aiden why don't you present something for us then"he said

"She's fast"he pointed to me.I dropped my head in the desk

"I will piss on your floor"I said.He gve a nod in agreement and I ran out.I ran to room 304.I looked inside the classroom.

"Where is the fucking idiot"I huffed

"You're too fast for me"I heard his voice boom behind me.I turned toward me.

"So are we really Magnesium Astatine Titanium Europium Sulphur "he asked.I noises my head slowly like it was a spring.He walk towards me

"I'm glad"

"No your not"I sighed.His hand touched my face.

"Hey Misty"Farely said from down the halls

"Shouldn't you be in class"Aiden snapped

"Aiden"I cried

"I'm an office aid"

"Of course what are you a freshman"

"Yeah but wha-"

"Get the hell out of here"Aidens aid

"Don't listen to him Farley"

"Misty I know what i'm doing."he said.

"Just go"Aiden added.Farley walked away.Aiden turned back to me and looked around

"Something still isn't right."Aiden said.He looked like he was talking to someone

"Come on Aiden do'nt be like that"

"Time to go"He said grabbing my hand.

"I'm sorry but by the time we got there they were taken"the beta' said.

"They're gone"Misty said with tears in her eyes.I wanted to cry but I had to be strong at least for her
