Chapter 2

There were candles lit all over the house and rose petals sprinkled all on the cherry wood floors as well as the tile in the bathroom. The bathtub was filled up with bubbles and red and yellow rose petals. It smelled like warm vanilla and sugar. Diamond smiled as she looked around. There was a note on the sink near a bag from Victorias Secret. As she was about to open the note the door bell rang..and rang...and rang..

Diamond jumped out of her sleep and picked up her phone.

"Hello?" She asked with hardly any voice.

"DIAMOND! Girl what are you doing?! I've been calling you all day! It's one thirty! We were supposed to be doing lunch today. Girl, what happened?"

Diamond looked at her clock. It was 1:32pm. She had over slept. 

"Vanessa, I'm so sorry girl. I guess I over slept. Let me get ready now."

"You must have had a man over or somethin. Mhm, Diamond is gettin her groove back!" Vanessa Sang.

"Please Nessa." Diamond  secretly wished she had a man over last night. "Let me get dressed."

"Forget about it Diamond. Just promise me tonight we can go out? There's a new lounge opening in Chelsea and I want us to go show out."

"Alright girl. I promise. I'll see you then."

Diamond put down her phone and read her text from Jason again and smiled. She got up, took a shower and brushed her teeth. She got dressed and put on a pencil skirt, patterned tights, some thigh high boots, a black leather jacket, and a long sleeved shirt underneath. The sun was out today but she knew it would still be cold outside. So she threw on a scarf and walked to the Starbucks where she and Jason were lastnight. 

Something was telling her to call him. He said he would call her, but she was anxious to see him again for some reason. Something told her to do it. 

"Good Afternoon Beautiful." Jason answered the phone.

Diamond chuckled. "I know you said you would call me but --."

"Don't worry about it, if I were you I would call me too." Jason joked.

They both laughed. "What are you doing?" He asked her.

"I just picked up a Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. Taking in the beautiful sun."

"How about we meet for lunch?" He asked her.

"Sounds great. Where?" Diamond was hungry, and since she and Vanessa weren't going to lunch anymore she figured she'd just go with Jason.

"Do you like pizza?" He asked her.

"I love pizza!" Diamond exclaimed

"I know the best pizza place in New York. I'm in the area, I'll meet you at the starbucks in 15 minutes."
