Fate’s heart beat more rapidly than before. She couldn’t look anymore.

They were descended faster as she might think.  Her eyes closed, thinking that Ayden was not a fool.  That he had a better plan. He must have a plan. He must. Or else they would die for sure.

She narrowed his snake’s eyes while she was still watching them both. Malapit na sa tagumpay, nawala pa. She hissed out of disappointments.

First time niyang nakita nang personal ang prinsesa. That woman was still Poseidon’s heiress.  Xera felt pity for the sea god for he couldn’t save his beloved descendant.  Two birds in one stone, if that woman would be killed, their curse would be over.  And Poseidon’s power would be weakened. If that time would happen, Atlanteans will soon rule once more the sea and soon they would conquer Olympus.

But Xera felt something wrong. She remembered that intense gaze and those dark eyes somewhere.

Damn.

Let’s get back. Before The Kynos will find out we’re all missing in Meduria.” Kynos was the name given of their great ruler. The wisest of all Gorgon creatures, he ruled the Gorgon world which was called Meduria. Only the descendants of Medusa’s gorgon sisters could rule their world. It was their law ever since Meduria was created.  And the great Kynos was Xena’s father.

Her voice was cold yet calm. She preferred to rule all of them through patience than fear.

If her father would find this out, malamang pati siya, mapaparusahan.

“Run princess… as long as you can. ‘Cause I will get your head soon no matter what.”

Fate couldn’t breathe.

But she knew she was still breathing.

Bakit parang kakaiba?

Fate opened her eyes slowly. Unaware of what was happening, she tried to open her eyes.

And she was surprised!

Ayden was no longer holding her. He was no longer to be seen. No sight of him at all.
