When Kyros reached the small dungeon where Fate was in prison, it was too late. The captured heiress was no longer been found. The Atlantean prince had escaped as well. And the worst part of that was their sacred water which they’d been using since the beginning of Meduria’s time was no longer in their possession.

Everything was a total failure and there was nothing left to blame.

It was not about the heiress anymore. It’s not about breaking the curse but the survival of their kind.

“We need to get ready for a battle.”

Xera was stunned by his father’s solemn words. Never in their Gorgon lives had her own father talked about something like this. The Kyros only wanted to live in peace in Meduria and she hated that principle and yet, all of sudden, their great ruler had a sudden change of mind.“Para saan mahal kong Kyros?”

“We’ll going to the human world to finish what we’ve started.”

Xera knew too well.  It would be a bloody war for all of them. This time, nothing would stop them.

Ayden watched the scene change from a cold and shadowy prison to his old room in the mansion. He softly held Fate into his arms and carefully laid her on his master bedroom with a shades of black and gold. Nothing appeared strange to him except to the water nymph who was still watching his every move.

Creepy.

He grasped his breathe as he tried to look on Fate’s body which was covered with bruises just like him. Her dress was full of blood from her wounds. Seeing her like this made his ached even more.

They must had been tortured her in Meduria.

Cursed them all!

It was too much to bear for. He swore this would be the last. He would protect her from them even if it would cost his damn life.

He turned around to face with, still gorgeous with her white dress.

Ayden paused as he stared into dark blue eyes that seared him with curiosity. “You can do whatever you want. You are free now.

She smiled like a sophisticated lady. She was sitting on his bed and was holding Fate’s hand who was still unconscious.
