Nightmares and Clarification

Before Happy started staying at Toby's flat.
Not in anyone's POV:

It was a dark and stormy night. Happy was on her couch pissed off at the TV that kept going out, because of the power. And Toby was lying on his couch secretly watching Anime.(it's an addiction that he's never told anyone about.)

Suddenly, when Toby was catching up on Soul Eater (I'm trying to find the time to catch up. Don't judge my lack of time for Anime peoples), he hears a silent knock on his door. He knows it's Happy because she's the only person that has a silent knock.

He thinks to himself as he get up off the couch, hamster hands.
He opens the door to a drenched Happy Quinn.
"Hey Hap. I wasn't expecting to see you here at 10.30 at night."
She rolls her eyes and shivers.
"Um, can I come in, or am I just suppose to stay out here in the cold rain all night?"
"Oh, yea. Sorry."
He steps aside and she walks inside his flat. She doesn't bother sitting on his couch, because she's all wet.
"So what exactly are you here for?" Toby questions her.
"Am I not allowed to come see my boyfriend or something?"
"No, it's just not you to come over to my flat half an hour until 11, at night. What's really wrong Happy?"
She looks up at him and sighs.
"I just got a little freaked out okay? My power kept flickering. And it freaked me out."
"Aw Haps." He hugs her. Even though she's drenched, he doesn't care. He just wants to comfort her in every way he can.
"Why are hugging me? I'm soaked. See, now you're wet."
"Because I love you and I want to be here for you." She rests her head on his shoulder.
"Can I ask you a personal question Toby?" She looks him in the eye.
"Yeah, anything." He looks down at her.
"...can I use your shower?"
"Of course Hap." There's another knock at the door.
"Who's that?" Happy asks, walking to his bedroom.
"Shit" He cusses to himself walking to the door.
"You okay in there?" Happy asks walking into his bathroom, with his darth vador underwear and his Harvard sweatshirt.
"Yea, I just forgot I'm suppose to watch Ralph tonight. Paige and Walt are going on their first official date, and Ralph didn't want to stay with Sly."
"To be honest, I wouldn't either. No offence to Sly, but he can be a bit..."
Happy yells from the bathroom, thinking about a way to continue.
"Overprotective?" Toby offers.
"Yea, overprotective." Happy finishes her sentence.
"I'm sorry." Toby opologises (did I spell that right?)
"What are you sorry for?" Happy asks confused.
"For forgetting Ralph's suppose to be coming over" Toby explains
"Doc, it's fine. It'll be fun."
Paige knocks on the door again. And Happy finally turns on the shower.
Toby opens the door to see Paige and Ralph.
"Hey. Sorry I forgot."
"You forgot that I was knocking on the door for 15 minutes?" Paige asks.
"Gosh sorry." Toby responds to her sassy comment.
"Yea. Anyway, we'll be back tomorrow around 10:30 at the earliest to pick him up." She explains.
"We? As in you and Mr. 197?" Toby pressures.
"Yea."
'She's not in a good mood' Ralph mouths, so his mother can't hear.
Toby nods.
"Well, we gotta go. Don't do anything crazy with Ralph hear. I saw her motorcycle outside." Paige clarifies.
"She means no sex" Ralph pitches in.
"RALPH" Paige yells.
Toby has to lean against the door frame from laughing so hard.
She looks at Toby, "don't do anything stupid-"
Then she looks at Ralph, "we're going to have a talk later."Then she leaves.
Toby high fives Ralph and they walk inside.
"Sorry for that 'talk' you and your mum are going to have later."Toby opologises.
"It's fine. It's not the first talk I've had with her about that."
"Dang."
"Where's Happy?"Ralph changes the subject.
"She's taking a shower. So what do you want to do?"Toby answers, also changing the subject.
"I brought some movies over. If that's okay..."
"Yea sure, what'd you bring?"Toby asks
"Well, mum was rushing me so I brought all my favourites;
The 7th Harry Potter movie,
The last Pirates Of The Caribbean movie,
And Big Hero 6."Ralph blurts out.
"Woah, alot of movies. At least you didn't bring the whole Harry Potter series, now that would be a hard choice. For all three of us."Toby adds.
"Happy likes Harry Potter too?" Ralph asks.
"Heck yea! We both do. But she actually has 3 tshirts."
"Cool!"
"Hey idiots!" Happy walks into the 'living room'
"Hey babe. So Ralph brought a bunch of movies to watch."Toby explains.
"Only 3"Ralph adds, innocently.
Happy goes into the kitchen and grabs 2 beers from the fridge. Then hands one to Toby.
"What are they?"Happy asks as nice as she can.
"Big Hero 6, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and the last Pirates Of The Caribbean movie."Ralph states.
"That's only 3 movies, and your mum isn't coming to get you until late tomorrow morning. Why don't we just watch them all."Happy suggests.
"Hap, it's almost midnight."Toby complains
"And?"Happy adds.
She waits for him to comment back. But he doesn't."Fine we'll just watch 2. Is that okay?"
She asks."Yea, I guess."

They first watch Big Hero 6, because Ralph apparently, really likes that movie.
Happy kept complaining throughout the whole movie about how boring it was. And Ralph kept saying that it made him think of Scorpion. To his own surprise, Toby didn't say anything through the whole movie. He just admired Happy's reaction.

The movie was almost over, and Ralph fell asleep on the couch. Toby and Happy were sitting on the floor. She was leaning against him.

They never watched the other two movies Ralph brought.

Once the movie was officially over, Toby put a blanket over Ralph, and him and Happy went to bed.

The thunder kept getting louder and louder. Happy and Toby couldn't go to sleep. Surprisingly.

Toby went to go get coffee because it usually helps when he can't sleep. While Toby was making coffee, Ralph woke up. It wasn't from the coffee maker, or the thunder, it was from something else.
Toby noticed Ralph was awake, so he went to go see if he was okay.
"Morning."It startled Ralph.
"You okay?" Toby clarifies.
"Y-yea, just a n-nightmare."Ralph states.
"You wanna talk about it?" Toby asks.
"Well, it started back 2 or 3 weeks ago when my mum and Walter started dating. She kept getting mad at me for random things, and ignoring me. She does that alot in general, but in my dream, she put me up for adoption. She didn't love me anymore. Sometimes I think it's true. Now that her and Walter are together, she changed. It's like I don't matter to her anymore." Ralph explains.
"Your mother loves you alot. More than our mums did. We would give anything to have a mum like yours. I know it may not look like she does love you. Trust me, she would do anything for you. Sometimes she gets mad or upset, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love you anymore. Paige will always love you. In fact, we all do." Toby responds.
The coffee maker beeps, signaling it's done, but Happy's already in the kitchen dealing with it.
"Thank you Toby." Ralph states.
"It's true though" Toby got up and went back into his bedroom forgetting the coffee.
Happy walks over to Ralph.
"Night bud" Then she went back to Toby's bedroom aswell.
Happy slides into the bed next to Toby and hands him the coffee she just made.
"He just needs to know that he's loved." Toby starts
"Look Doc, I know what it feels like not to be loved. I have delt with it my whole entire life. And sometimes I still feel it, so I know how he feels. He just needs more attention. Just talk to Paige tomorrow about it." Happy ends the conversation.
"Well, I love you, and I always will so you don't need to feel unloved anymore." Toby clarifies.
"I love you too." Happy responds, kissing him.
