Chapter 5: New acquaintances

~Normal pov~

A boy in a white mask and black feminine features picked you up and ran out of the house. "Hey! Put me down," you yelled struggling to get out of his grip, "Where are you taking me?!" The boy covered your mouth while he and the other two boys kept running. "Saving your life," one of them answered.

They slipped into a creepy-like forest and everyone hid in a bush. "Hoody, stay here with (Y/N)," the boy in the white mask commanded, "Toby, come with me, and BE QUIET." The boy on a brown hoodie stood up and ran off with the boy in the white mask. You were stuck with the boy in a yellow hood and a black mask with red features of a frowny face. He putted his hand on your back comforting you. "It's okay, (Y/N)," He said in a soft tone, "We're here to protect you. Not to hurt you."

The two other boys show up with the white faceless man and Laughing Jack a while later. "Hoody, (Y/N)," the boy in the white mask called out, "It's okay to come out now." Both you and the boy in the black mask stood up. LJ was a bit more bruised up than the faceless man.

"We manage to send Zalgo away," the faceless man said as if he were a business man, "But going home won't be an option. Since he now knows where you are, he can come get you when we least expect it." You started to worry, "Then where am I supposed to go? Where am I going to live?"

Everyone looked at each other. "She can stay with us," LJ finally answered, "At least give her a roof over her head." Everyone agreed including you. You didn't want to be homeless, but yet you didn't want to live with some sort of weird demon either. At least living with a bunch of weirdoes is better than normal people.

LJ carried you bride style to a small simple house. He set you down on the front porch of the house. The faceless man unlocked the door and everyone went inside. "Jeff, EJ, DJ, Laila," He called out, "We're home, and we have a new comer." Just as he said that, three boys and a girl came in.

One of the boys was white from head to toe. His hair was a charred black color. He had on a white hoodie that had some blood stains on it, black pants and converses. His mouth was carved into a smile, and his eyelids looked like they had been burned off.

Another boy wore the same as the white one, but his hoodie was black. He wore a blue mask. He literally had no eyes, but there was some sort of black ooze tearing out of the eye sockets of the mask. Bits of light brown hair was poking out of the hood of his hoodie. His skin was pitch black.

The third boy's skin was as pale as yours. He had black/ silver hair angled at one side where one side was longer than the other. He was wearing a dark gray dress shirt, two brown belts, black pants, and a black jacket. He was wearing headphones on his head.

The girl was the same skin tone as one of the boys. She had dirty blonde hair that fell to the shoulders. Some of the hair was in a ponytail with braids on the sides. She was wearing a black short dress with a blue jean short jacket, and black knee high boots. She had a yellow string tied around her neck, and her legs looked like they were put back together like pieces of a puzzle.

"(Y/N) needs to settle down first," The faceless man said formally, "LJ, take (Y/N) to your room. Laila, help her change." You looked down at yourself. Your clothes did looked like they hadn't been washed for weeks. LJ held your hand and led you to his room. The girl was a bit ahead of you two.

The girl opened a door to a bed room so big, it was twice the size of your bedroom in your home. "I'll be right back," the girl said, "LJ, can you keep an eye on her for a moment?" Then she left the room.

You sat down on the side of the bed as LJ sat down right beside you. "I'm really sorry you can't go back home," LJ sighed, "I just wanted to keep you safe." You laid your hand on his. You fingers interlaced with his, "I understand. You had to protect me one way or another." LJ placed his other hand on your cheek and guided you into a kiss.

The kiss only lasted for a few gentle seconds when he released his lips from yours. "At least accept that as an apology," he said as he blushed. You nodded slowly. The girl came back with a few outfits. "Sorry it took me a while," she exclaimed. LJ got up, "It's fine. I'll be with the others." LJ left the room.

The girl placed the outfits on the bed. "I only got the ones that don't fit me anymore," she said, "You can keep them if you like." You nodded, "Thank you." The looked at you with her huge dilated eyes and a small smile. She left the room for you to change. You went to see what she gave you.

Most of the clothes were dresses and very dark colored. The only one that stand out was a white sun dress. You decided to put it on only to find that it ends above the knees. You went to look for something to cover your legs. Luckily there were some black legging and you went to put them on as well. Once you were changed, you went downstairs to see what the others are up to.

The boys were sitting on the table while Laughing Jack was leaning against the doorway to the kitchen, the girl hugging both the boy with the blue mask and the boy with the headphones. The three boys that saved your life with the faceless man who was staring at you as if he was stalking you.

"Do forgive us with our manners of not introducing us," he apologized.

"There's no need of sounding like William Shakespeare," you answered.

The faceless man nodded understanding, "My name is Slenderman." Everyone started calling out their names one by one.

"Jeff."

"Eyeless Jack. EJ for short."

"DJ. Short for Killer DJ, or Dejoin."

"Dreadful Dancer, but please. Call me Laila."

"I'm Masky."

"Name's Hoody."

"Hai. I'm Ticci Toby, but you can call me Toby." Slenderman asked you for your name. You felt like you had to respond, "I'm (Y/N). Thanks for letting me stay." Everyone appreciated the comment. You felt a nudge from something. You turn to see a red and black Siberian husky waiting to be petted. "Looks like Smile Dog likes you, (Y/N)," Jeff chuckled. You petted the dog as it gave out a playful growl.
