**A/N I haven’t written about what’s going on with Kian, Sam, Megan and all those people- so hurr ya go. :P**

~ Sam’s Point Of View ~

I’m asking Megan’s parents if I can date Megan today.

I can’t stop thinking about her.

Her smile, her laugh, her eyes, her face, just everything.

I grabbed my sunglasses and started walking over to Megan’s house. Megan had made a new friend- Nicole, another friend of ours- and they’re shopping today.

“Hello Sam! Good to see you! How have ya been?” Megan’s dad greeted me at the door. “Come on in!”

“I’ve been great, thanks. And how are you?”

“Good, good. We’ve basically got everything moved in!” He said with a smile.

“That’s great! It looks good!” I smiled. Megan’s mom came down from the stairs, to see who had rung the bell. “Hi Mrs. Lewis!”

“Hi Sam! What brings ya by?”

“Well, I’ve been wanting to ask you guys a question,” I bit my lip. Here goes nothing. “I want to date your daughter, but only if I have both of your guys’ approval, first.” I looked down at my shoes and threw my hands in my pockets. I totally planned this one out.

“How about this- “ Mr. Lewis spoke up, putting his hand on my shoulder, me looking him in the eyes. Confidence is everything. “My wife and I will talk about it, and then tomorrow over lunch, we’ll tell you our decision.”

“That sounds great, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis.” I smiled again. “Thank you, both of you!” Somehow I have a feeling they’ll say yes.

- Sunday -

My phone rang. Mr. Lewis was calling. I paused the video I was watching on my computer and answered it.

“Hello?”

“Sam! Do you like the Olive Garden?”

“I do.”

“Great! We’ll pick you up in about twenty minutes, that alright?”

“Yep. I’ll be ready.”

“Kay. Mbye.” He hung up.

Well this won’t be awkward whatsoever.

“I’ll have the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich, thank you.” I told the waiter. “Oh, and it’s all on me.”

“Sam, you don’t need to do that.”

I smiled at the waiter. “It’s all me.”

“And for you two?” The waiter asked Mr. and Mrs. Lewis.

They looked at me, and then down at their menus and ordered. “Thank you, Sam.” They said after the waiter was gone.

“You’re welcome.”

We made small talk until our food came.

Is it even possible to be this nervous? What if I miss my mouth and I spill sauce on my shirt? What if I accidentally shove my straw up my nose instead of putting it in my mouth? Oh dear lord, keep an eye out for me.

“So, Sam, I bet you’re anxious to know what we’ve decided, yeah?”

YES SIR. YES I AM. “Yeah, a little.” I laughed.

“Well…” Mrs. Lewis looked at Mr. Lewis. “Do you wanna tell him or do you want me to?”

“You can.” Mr. Lewis smirked.

DEAR LORD I PRAY TO YOU THIS IS THE ONLY THING I ASK OF YOU.

“We decided that… as long as you treat her with respect and have her home by curfew, you’re welcome to date our daughter.”

“THANK YOU SO MUCH!” I smiled big. Can I kiss these people?

“You’re very welcome.” They smiled back.

THANK YOU GOD.

It’s a Monday.

It’s the day I ask Megan out.

I’ve got this all planned out- I’ll take her to play laser tag, and while we’re eating our pizza, I’ll ask her.

Let’s hope this will be as simple as I think it’ll be.

I called Megan last night, to ask her if she wants to go play laser tag today. “Um sure, I’ll try it out.”

-

I walked up to her door, and rung the bell.

“Hey. Come in, I just have to put my shoes on.”

She was wearing a simple light purple dress, which she probably got with Nicole yesterday. She looked amazing.

“Kay! Let’s go. Bye mom! Bye dad! Love you!”

“Love you too honey!”

I opened the car door for her, and whispered something in her ear. “You look beautiful.” Might as well start dropping hints, yeah? I winked at her. She blushed. Aww that’s so adorable!

I smiled to myself and hopped in the drivers’ seat.

~~

“Yeah, one cheese pizza please.” I told the waiter after Megan and I were done playing playing laser tag. By the way, I won.

“So listen, Megan.”

“Yeah?” she took a bite of her pizza slice.

“If I were to ask you…” Oh my god why am I nervous? You’ve played this how many times in your head Sam? “To be my girlfriend… what would you say?”

Bad time Sam. She was taking a drink of her Coke. She spit out her soda.

“OH MY GOD I am so sorry!”

“It’s alright it’s alright. It’s just a little.” I laughed. “What would you um.. say?” I said, as grabbed a couple hundred napkins to clean up.

“YES!”

I smiled. Thank God.

She got up and hugged me. She smelled so good.
