Another Move

Chapter Thirteen

- Megan’s Point of View -

I woke up to Kian prying my eye open. Oh yeah, today I get to meet everyone!

“Wake up sleepy!” I felt Kian roll onto my bed, between Nicole and I. “You too, sweet cheeks. We get to meet Pewds and everyone!”

“Give us ten minutes,” I tried to protest.

“Nope.” I heard him mumble something, and then he ripped off the blankets. “I hope you guys still love me.”

It’s a good thing it isn’t winter. “C’mon Nic, we gotta go. I mean, we get to hear Swedish accents AND an Italian one.” The rest of the Brits had gotten here last night. They eat, a lot.

“Hi, I’m Pewds.” Felix waved at me. Everyone was gathering at my boyfriend’s house before we go to our first day of Vidcon. Kian and Natalie had picked all the rest of Our 2nd Life up yesterday, as did everyone from Sweden.

“Brits, come with me.” Alexys demanded.

“Are you sure we’re going to be able to fit everyone in one video? We can barely even fit everyone in this house.” I asked Sam. He was planning on making some video with EVERYONE in it that’s visiting.

“Let’s make a mental list, shall we? We’ve got the Americans- Me, you, Kian, Nicole, and Jarrad. The Brits- Alexys, Hazel, Courtney, Dan, Phil, Jack, and Finn. And the the last four- Phoebe, Jasmine, Felix, and Marzia.”

“That’s sixteen people, if I counted right.”

“Yeah, you can sit on my lap.” Sam winked.

“Is anyone hot?” Hazel came downstairs with a water gun, an ugly Christmas sweater, and an Obama mask on.

“Um… why?” Please don’t spray me, please don’t spray me, please don’t spray me.

“Just wondering.” She said. “Are we eating before we go?”

“You have to save the water to shoot the fans, Hazel.” Courtney told her. “And everyone else ate. You were in the shower.”

“Thanks for informing me. I’m having a bowl of Lucky Charms.”

“I want some charms!” Alexis yelled.

“No. Mine.” She poured the milk.

“LET’S GO GO GANG!” Kian yelled, and in a matter of two minutes.

“HAZEL ROSE HARRIES!” Jasmine yelled, when she saw Hazel.

“HAZZY!” Marzia yelled. “I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!”

“Well well well if it isn’t the lovely Hazel McHarries.” Pewds went up and hugged her.

“HAZEL! ALEXYS! COURTNEY! DAN! PHIL! JACK! FINN! KIAN! SAM! JARRAD! NICOLE! I MISSED YOU GUYS!” Phoebe yelled, while trying to hug everyone at the same time.

Wow. If I didn’t know any better, the Swedish people’s favorite is Hazel.

“And who is this young lady?” Pewds asked Hazel.

“That’s Megan. She just moved in with the Cali group. She’s great.” Hazel answered with a smile.

“Oh, well it’s nice to meet you, Megan.” Pewds smiled at me.

“I’m a big fan of yours.”

“Really, well thanks for supporting me. Would you care to take a picture? I have to introduce my new friend to my Bros.”

“Yeah, of course!” I smiled. Pewds pulled his phone out, and put his arm around me.

“Tack!” He said, after we took the picture.

“What?”

“Thank you in Swedish. Alright, is everyone done hugging and stuff?” He looked at his watch. “We should probably go find people.”

“Who are we finding?” I asked Sam, as we were following Pewds somewhere.

“People we want to meet. And if any fans stop by and ask for a picture, just do it.”

“How would I have fans?”

“You’re my girlfriend. I’m not being vain or anything, but people will want to meet you.”

“Oh, okay.”

“OH MY GOD LAQUISHA! IT’S SAM AND MEGAN!!” I heard some girl scream at the top of her lungs. Dang, someone’s a big fan.

“Jesus.” Sam mumbled.

“Will you take a selfie with us?”

“Yeah, of course.” Sam and I did a silly face.

“I could get used to this,” I said, after a couple more fans. “Hey, aren’t we gonna meet the rest of Our 2nd Life?”

“Yeah, I think that’s where Pewdiepie is leading us.”

“OH MY GOD IT’S SAM POTTORFF AND HIS GIRLFRIEND!” I heard someone yell.

“There’s Trevor,” Sam laughed.

“DUDE! THAT’S KIAN LAWLEY AND HIS GIRLFRIEND!” Was that… Ricky?

“RICKSTER!” Kian and Ricky embraced each other.

“It’s so nice to finally meet you!” Trevor came up to Sam and I.

“It’s nice to meet you too!” I didn’t know what to do, so I hugged him.

“OH MY GOD IT’S JC CAYLEN AND RICARDO ORDIERES!” Finn yelled. “THEY’RE REAL!” Finn was a big fan of the two.

“I LOVE YOU GUYS!” Ricardo ran over to Finn and Jack and hugged them.

“YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!”

“Hey, let’s not forget the king of YouTube over here,” Pewds said.

“IT’S PEWDIEPIE!” Connor and Ricky impersonated Pewds at the same time.

“Hey, let’s all go to my house and make a video?” Kian suggested. Everyone was pretty beat from meeting everyone and then some. The thing I learned today, was that fans are crazy. They all wanted to meet everyone at the same time. One of the fans brought a pair of handcuffs and almost cuffed Alexys to her. Too bad Hazel caught the fan and smacked her. The fans’ face was hilarious.

“As long as you’ve got food.”

“And Nutella.”

“And you’ll tell us the wifi password.”

“And Hot Pockets.”

“Yes, I’ve got all of that. Let’s go!”

The last thing I remember is falling asleep next to Sam. Courtney said Connor asked her out. They’re cute together.

It turns out that this move, wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I mean, I ended up with a boyfriend, and an amazing one at that. You know what’s even better? I think I might be staying here in California for college, because when summer comes around again, I’ll be in college. How awesome is that? I get to stay here with all my friends and go to VidCon every summer. I was right about California. Best. Move. Ever.
