~ Megan’s Point Of View ~

He FINALLY asked me to date him! Finally! I called Nicole.

"Hello?"

"Megan. Guess. What. Sam. Just. Did."

"What?"

"He just asked me out!" I grinned. I could see Sam smiling out of the corner of my eye.

"Really? That's great! I'm happy for you two!" I could hear her smiling through the phone.

"Thanks. Well I should probably get back to Sam… I'll talk to ya later!"

"Alright. Bye!"

"What do you think about campfires?"

"I think they're awesome, why?"

"We should have one tonight. You know, with everyone."

"Yeah, we should."

-

"Hey, we're having a bonfire tonight at my house. Wanna come?" I called Nicole again.

"No.. my grandma's taking me shopping."

"You go shopping with your grandma a lot."

"I know. She buys me Nutella too."

"Oh.. well, we'll miss you!"

"I’ll miss you guys too. But I should probably get ready- my grandma’s coming soon. I love you!”

“Love you too!”

“Nicole can’t come?” Sam asked, assuming from what he heard from my end of the conversation. We were in my living room. I had just told my parents that I was dating Sam. They were happy for me, which is great.

“Nope. Alright, so they’re coming over at 9ish, so we have two hours to get ready. You ready to go get some food?”

“Yep.” We hopped in the car.

-

“So… you guys wanna play a game?” I asked, after a while when we ran out of things to do.

“Truth or Dare?” Kian suggested. “I’ll start. Megan. Truth or Dare?”

“Hmm… truth.”

“How did he ask you out?” He asked.

“How did you know..?”

“Sam told me about it before.”

I looked at Sam, who couldn’t help but smile.

“Well, he took me out to play laser tag with him, which I won, by the way," I smiled. "And then he asked me, and then I spit my Coke all over the place.”

Sam laughed, and then blushed a little. “But she did say yes, did she not?” He smiled, and then put his arm around me. “So, Kian, truth or dare?” He asked.

“Hmmm… truth.” He said.

“Truth, huh?” Sam smirked.

“Yeah.”

“Who do you like?”

“What are we, ten? You can’t ask that, it’s too boring.”

“So? Answer the question, Kian.”

“C’mon we wanna know!” Everyone else cheered him on.

Kian stayed quiet for a little while, and then said, “Nicole. Okay? I like Nicole. She’s the prettiest girl around. And you guys better not tell her I like her. Got it?”

“Mhm. Yeah, sure.” I laughed. I won’t tell her. Well, maybe, if it comes up. But here’s what I’m thinking- Nicole’s told me that she likes Kian, so why not set them up. Sure, it’ll be awkward between them, but they’ll make the cutest couple.

“What.” Kian looked at me.

“Nothing, nothing.” I smiled.

“You’re a mischievous little girl, you know that, right Megan?”

“Sí Señor Lawley.”

We ended up doing some hilarious dares. Oh, the memories.
