Chapter 5

A/N: You all thought I forgot to upload today didn't you?! Well the jokes on you! I ONLY FORGOT FOR HALF THE DAY! HAHAHAHHA! You must feel stupid don't you?! Jkjk. I didn't forget at all. I had to drop my parents off at the airport and then a friend came over. This doesn't have a title because I didn't want to ruin the chapter's story. Enjoy my Epically Awesome Peeps!

Marinette's POV
February 14th. By far the worst day in the world! Another year still as lonely as can be...well if you don't count a certain black cat tapping on your window everyday. We weren't dating officially yet, but we did kiss occasionally....maybe like twice...a week? I don't know. Kitty and I can't date right? He is a super hero, and I am just Marinette, a baker's daughter. I am starting to think that I am even Ladybug anymore because Tikki isn't here. Also, last week, I woke up and my miraculous were gone! They just disappeared! There is no point in my existence anymore. If I can't save people then what is my job? All I knew how to do was save people.

My eyes swelled up with tears again. I can't do anything good anymore. I don't have an identity anymore. I can't patrol and protect my city, the air seems more and more stale as days passed. Tears flowed freely down my cheeks, and I didn't bother so wipe them away. Who am I? What is my purpose in this life? Could I even go on?

"Princess? What's wrong? I can barely stand seeing you like this!" a familiar voices said.

"Oh Chat!" I could barely get my words out. Chat wrapped his warm arms around me while running his hands through my hair. It took a long while but I eventually calmed down.

"Now can you tell me what's wrong?" I shook my head. "Ok, well, you are coming out with me ok? So change into warmer clothes. I will be waiting for you purincess." Chat had his stupid smile on his face.

"Chat. Why are we going somewhere?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"It's Valentine's Day, and I am helping you make today a good day. Now hurry up!" So demanding. I thought sighing.

I put a cute sweater on and a pair of black leggings. The sweater had a cute Chinese black cat on it. I could walk now, but I needed my crutches and back brace on. I hated them both. I looked terrible with them on. I still couldn't go to school. I have no clue why, but I do what I am told. I go back to school in two weeks I think. I was able to catch up with all my free time, too. I came out of my closet and asked,"I am assuming you are carrying me there?"

"You are right! Great guess, princess." Chat scooped me up, and we were off. I enjoyed the ride a little bit. Still the air was quite stale, and I didn't feel as free. I missed Tikki so much. I was nothing without her really. Chat finally stopped.

"The Eiffel Tower? You are so cliche, kitty. It is nice though so you get a little credit," I teased. He set me down on a thick picnic blanket. It was actually pretty late right now, so I was assuming Chat was feeding me dinner. It was so cute! It had candles on the outskirts and tea cups! Everything really! "Wow! How did you afford this?"

"It is a secret." Chat smirked. "I hope you like it, Mari."

"Like it? I love it, Chat! Thanks so much." I gave him a kiss on the cheek just to make him nervous.

"Y-you're w-welcome!" Chat blushed a light shade of pink. We talked while eating, and thankfully he didn't ask why I was crying earlier again. He even spooned some food and feed it to me.

"Chat, I can feed myself you know?" I protested.

"But today is a special day, so therefore you get special treatment." Chat continued to feed me the clam chowder soup he brought.

"But isn't supposed to be special for both of us? Valentine's Day is for both sides of a couple." Realizing what I just said, I blushed. I blushed really hard. My cheeks turned crimson, and Chat's did the same.

"We are a couple?" Chat pressed.

"Only if you want us to be, kitty." I playfully poked his nose.

"Of course I want us to be a couple! Is that even a question? Je t'aime, princess." Chat was about to lower himself upon me when I pushed him back up. "What's wrong?" he questioned.

"What about Ladybug?" I asked. Why? I have no idea. Ladybug doesn't exist anymore. "Don't you still love her?"

"Honestly, I do have feelings for her, but I love you much more. Ladybug doesn't reciprocate my feelings the way you do. My heart solely belongs to my princess."

"Thank you, kitty! Thank you so much!" This time I let him kiss me. He was soft but firm. I ran my hands through his hair and soul and down his leather back. He stopped kissing me to find the sensitive spot on my neck. Hearing the soft moan I left out, he continued kissing me senseless. I pressed my lips harder to his to get as much contact as possible. He bit my lower lip and sucked. I moaned louder than the one before. I could feel him smile against my lips. He controlled the kiss well. Chat is so good at kissing. He pressed his tongue to my lips, and I hesitantly complied. He went slow to make sure I enjoyed it. The French kiss was sweet and warm. Chat broke it to breath. He also pulled out a box. He opened it and inside was a necklace. It was custom made to look like a paw print, which I think we're made of a precious stone. Chat, are those diamonds?" He nodded. "I can't let you give me this. It is way to expensive. You can't spend this much money on me."

"Princess, it's ok. I live in a rich family. I promise you it didn't cost that much. Now turn around," He commanded. I was forced to turn around as he placed the beautiful necklace on my neck. "Do you like it?"

"Of course, kitty! I love it! It's amazing! Now I can always have something to remember you by. It's wonderful. I couldn't ask for anything better."

"Not even a kiss from me?" Chat said mischievously.

"Nope!" I said. "But I will still accept one." I winked flirtatiously.

"That's it! Come here you." Chat almost tackled me to get a kiss from me. I surprised him and kissed him first. I laughed and said,"It's getting really late kitty! You need to bring me home!" Chat groaned but brought me home. The air was fresh and new! I loved the ride back, and hoped it would stay like this. He gently placed me back on my bed and lied there with me for a while. "Bye kitty!" I waved to him as he left my bedroom.

And just like that. My worst day of the year turned to be my favorite day.
