Chapter 23- The Reveal

A/N: This up there is a drawing of Bella. It isn't that great I know....Owlkeys thanks for attempting to teach me your glorious ways. I literally did this picture over 3 times. The body doesn't look 4 really..oh well. She has Marinette's nose and blue eyes. She has Adrian's blond hair.

Bella. She was an amazing child. In just the first month that I have had her she already stole my heart. I loved her as much as a real mom would. Chat came over every single night to see Bella and I. While I was at school, Nooroo and Clara took turns watching her. It was working perfectly.

Hawkmoth hasn't striked for a while worrying Ladybug, Chat, and I. We all took turns patrolling the city. While I was on patrol, Chat took advantage of the time, bonding with Bella. Sometimes I would stop and stare through my window admiring my family. I really do want us to a real family officially. Chat and I would get married and then adopt Bella, the future couldn't be any clearer.

Nooroo, Bella, Chat, and I were on top of a building. I was trying again, to summon an anti-akuma, or what I like to call a healing butterfly, to ensure that Bella would be safe from akumas. I couldn't bare to fight my own child. I focused on the butterfly forming it strongly in my mind. I felt a fluttering in between my hands. I opened my hands letting the butterfly free. I told it to go to Bella. Well I thought it. It obeyed. Bella giggled and held her finger out for the butterfly to land on it. The butterfly landed on her delicate little finger. She attempted to pet it. Strangely, it kind of absorbed into her finger. "Mommy? Where did it go?"

"I'm not sure, but it will always be with you! Right here!" I lightly touched her chest. She smiled them yawned. "Look like someone is tired!" I suddenly felt really light headed.

Chat held my shoulders and said,"Are you okay, honey?" Ever since Bella came, we have gotten a little closer and treating each other like we were married.

"How about you carry Bella home tonight?" I felt really tired. He nodded. We all went to my house. Bella slept on my chaise for right now. We tucked her in kissing her on the cheek. "Goodnight, sweetie. Je t'aime, Bella." I pulled her covers up as she drifted off to sleep.

"I need to go now, Princess. Meet me at the Eiffel Tower at 6 tomorrow. Have your parents watch Bella. I have something important to tell you." I nodded and kissed him good night. I fell asleep relived that Bella was safe from Hawkmoth's grasps.

The next morning went very smoothly. "Mama! Can you look after Bella later tonight, Chat has something planned, and he didn't want her to come."

"Of course, dear. Bella and I need time together anyway." I was very happy she was looking forward to tonight. Today was a Saturday so I had not much to do.

Alya called me up and said,"Wanna hang at the mall for a few hours?"

"Um...I can't. I'm babysitting." A single lie rolled off my tongue.

"Bring her with you!" The Parisian agrued.

"I can't! Sorry Alya maybe next time." Bella was tugging on my dress. "See you at school bye!" I ended the call with a sigh. I hated lying to my friend. She didn't know about Bella yet. No one does...well except my family and Chat of course. I kneeled down to the little girl's level. "What do you need, sweetie?"

"I'm hungry!" I looked at the clock with wide eyes.

"Oh my goodness. I'm sorry. The time just flew right past me. We can eat some lunch." I hugged her and then say her on a chair at the table. I heated up some leftover Mac n cheese for us to eat. I served the hungry girl.

We ate in a comfortable silence. "I want to see daddy!" Bella sadly said.

"Me too honey, me too. He is busy and can't be here right now. Mommy and daddy are going on a little date tonight so Nana is going to take care of you, okay? We will be back as soon as possible. I love you Bella." I kissed her forehead.

"I love you too." Her cute voice replied. I hugged we tightly not wanting to let go. *knock knock* I wonder who that could be? I walked to the door and opened it slowly. It was Alya! "Alya! What are you doing here?"

"Girl, I decided to visit you and help you since you couldn't come to the mall," she said.

Oh no....I felt a tug on my dress again. "Who is this, mommy?" The mommy part was quiet so I hope she didn't her it.

"This is my best friend Alya. Alya meet Bella." In all the scenarios, in my head tells me that I shouldn't deny her calling me mommy.

"Hello, Bella! Nice to meet you. What did you call Marinette?" Bella pointed at me in question. "Yes."

"This is my mommy." She looked so happy saying that. I picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"So who is daddy?" Alya questioned. I let Bella answer the question.

"Chat Noir!" She giggled. Alya looked at me in surprise. I nodded confirming the information she was given.

"Marinette, spill." Alya commanded. I told her everything. At the end, she understood mostly. Of course I didn't mention that I was Claire. "What about Claire? I thought she was dating Chat Noir."

"Chat dates both of us I guess. I don't care as long as he comes to spend time with Bella and I." I said now combing Bella's hair. Her hair was silky like Chat's hair. "I don't want to talk about that kind of thing with my munchkin here."It's getting late. Please be careful on your way home."

"I will." Just as she left my parents came. They had groceries with them. Well I got to go now.

"Can you make Bella dinner? She only had a snack about two hours ago." Mama nodded. I turned to Bella,"I will be back will daddy later okay? I love you." She hugged me not saying anything. I ran up to my room and onto the balcony. "Wing up!" Clara was sucked into the miraculous, and I flew straight for the Eiffel Tower.

I already missed Bella too much. I just flew to get as soon as possible. I saw Chat in the distance waving at me. I landed in his arms. I smiled at him. "How was your day?" I asked.

"A bit stressful, but now that I'm with you it's perfect." He kissed my lightly. "Come sit down. I brought food for dinner." He led my to a picnic blanket full of food.

"Thank you, Kitty! What did you need to tell me? I want to get home to Bella as soon as possible. She misses you a lot you know," I said as I ate my food.

"I miss her a lot, too. I wish I could be around more." He looked sad.

"It would benefit all of us." I scooted closer to him and put my head on his shoulder. We finished eating. I stood up. "So what was so very important?"

"I want to tell you who I am as a real person. I want to be over at your house without sneaking it. I want to see Bella more often. I want to see you more often! If I show you who I am then that can happen. You could bring Bella to my house! We can be a real family." He spilled his thoughts out to me.

"I want that too, Kitty. Tell me who you are." I hugged him.

"My real name is Adrian Agreste. I see you every day in class. You have no clue how much I want to hold your hand during the day."

"A-Adrian? It was you all along...How didn't I notice before?" I looked at him. "I'm glad it was you, Adrian." I kissed him hard. "I love you, Kitty. Now let's tell my parents and go see Bella." He nodded.

We both got to my front door, looked around to see if anyone saw or could see us. We detransformed and went in together. As soon as we came in Bella ran up to Adrian and yelled,"Daddy!!!"

Adrian picked her up and said, "Hi, Bella. How is my sweet girl?" I stared at them in surprise. Adrian said,"Bella already knows. We kept it a secret."

"I'm good!" She said smiling. "Does this mean I get to see more often?!"

"Yes, we both do!" I exclaimed.

"Yay!!!!!!!" Bella yelled. She hugged the both of us, and I couldn't be happier. We were one step closer to being a real family.
