Chapter 24-Mr.Agreste

Marinette's POV

It was the day that Adrian and I were announcing that we are a couple. Adrian came to my house to help me bring Bella to her first day care day. We dropped her off. "Be good for the workers, okay?" This was especially hard for me since no one besides Adrian, my parents, and I have ever taken care of her.

"We will be back after school is over." Adrian told her. She nodded hugging her favorite stuffed bear tightly. We both kissed her on the head. We waved and walked to school together hand and hand. I loved being able to show affection to my kitty whenever I'd like. Nino and Alya saw us, both tackling us with a hug.

"Hey guys. Are you finally an item?!" Alya asked jumping up and down.

"Yep, we are!" I said holding our linked hands up.

"Eeeeeh!!! One more question. How is Bella?" she asked. Adrian looked at me.

"Uhh...ya I forgot to tell you that she knows." I said nervously scratching the back of my head. "She is good. We put her in daycare today, and I just hope she will be alright."

"Don't worry, Mari. If anything goes wrong, she will call us." Adrian reassured me. I took a deep breath nodding. Adrian got closer to me and whispered,"I told my dad that we were dating, and he wants to meet you. He said to bring one of your designs, too so after school we pick up Bella, go to your house to drop her off and grab a few of your designs, and then go to my house, okay?"

I nodded and whispered back,"Does he know about Bella?" He shook his head and leaned in. I thought we was going to whisper something to me, but ended up sucked my ear instead. I turned bright red and pulled him away. "Stop it! Not at school!"

"Ya guys get a room," Alya snickered.

"Dude, I think you guys are sooo cute," Nino commented. "We have to get to class let's go."

School passed bye at the speed of light.

I rushed to pick up Bella, missing her deeply. Adrian ran after me, but I beat him there. By the time Adrian got there, I was walking towards him with Bella in my arms. "Tell us about your first day daycare, Bella! I want to hear all about it." I said. I put her down so both of us could hold her hand.

"It was okay. I met a few kids. This one girl, Emily, was really nice to me. I think we will play a lot together. I had fun," she explained. We swung her in between us. She giggled and laughed. Adrian and I shared a kiss. Bella cringed, and we laughed. I really did think we were a perfect family. We went home and explained to my parents. They agreed to watch Bella while we were gone. We said goodbye kissing her on the cheek. I grabbed a few designs. (That one up there is going to be one of them. I drew that a while ago. Owlkeys ) I picked a variety of them. Hats, dresses, shirts, accessories, skirts, pants, shorts, anything. I only picked my best. I ended up bring ten will me.

We walked peacefully to his house like a real couple. I put my head on his shoulder and looked up at the beautiful sky. I said,"Wanna transform? It would be faster than walking. Besides I wanna fly today! It's so beautiful out."

"Sure why not. We hid in an alley stealthily making sure no one saw us. We transformed. I flew beside Chat. I love flying. I feel so weightless like a cloud drifting through the wind. We made it to his house, detransformed, and walked in. Adrian brought me to his room first saying that Natalie would call us when his father was ready. I sat on his bed admiring everything around me.

"Your room is huge! Really nice too," I complimented.

He say next me and kissed me. "Thank you. It's not all the time that I get alone time with my princess." He kissed my neck. I moaned at the feeling of his lips on my skin. "I love you princess." He kissed my lips. In between kisses he said,"Don't. Worry. About. My. Father. I think. That. He will. Like. You." I smiled on his lips.

"You're so cute, Kitty. I love you, too. I am still nervous but I hope he likes me, too. Should we tell him about Bella?"

"Um...maybe. I'm not sure."

"Mr, Agreste is ready to see you now." Natalie said knocking on the door. We left together. We were standing at his office door. I grabbed Adrian's hand and nodded. He opened the door. I took a gander at his office it was very modern. It was most gray though making it kind cloudy and sad. Natalie was whispering something to him and then left.

"Hello, Marinette," he addressed.

I slightly bowed saying,"Hello, Mr. Agreste."

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Take a seat." He said gesturing to the chair in front of his desk. "You are a daughter of a baker aspiring to be a fashion designer. Tell me more about what you do."

"You are correct. Adrian told me to bring you a few samples of what I do. I also sew my own designs, too. Would you like to see?" He nodded. I handed him all ten designs. I was shaking because I was so nervous. I hope it wasn't visible.

"You're shaking are you alright?" Adrian whispered. He was standing behind the chair with his hands on my shoulders.

"Just nervous," I whispered back. Mr. Agreste was looking through all the designs. He handed them back. I tried to see if he liked them, but his face was unreadable.

"Your designs are very good. Since you are graduating next year, why not get an interview to be an intern here?" He suggested.

"Thank you, sir! I would very much appreciate that."

"Next, Natalie told me about a Bella. Who is she?" He interrogated.

She was eavesdropping on us? "Bella is um...our daughter. Hold on, I know what you are thinking. I am not pregnant. Adrian and I haven't taken part in such activities yet. We found Bella in the park. She doesn't remember anything about who her family if so we have taken it upon ourselves to take care of her. She lives at my house, but if you give us permission, we would like to bring her here, too."

He nodded in understanding. "Thank you for explaining. I was worried that Adrian was going to be a father. You may leave now. Adrian, I want to talk to you." He nodded.

I left the room and made my way back to Adrian's room or tried to anyway. I couldn't remember which way it was. Was it left? Or maybe right? I am so comfused. I was officially lost. I pasted many maids who politely said hi and then continued doing their job. I tried to ask people for directions, but no one answered me. It has been about ten minutes, and I was still lost. I heard my name.
"Marinette? Where are you?"

"I am over here!" I yelled back. I walked slowly toward the voice.

"Marinette! Yell my name if you can hear me!"

"Adrian!" I heard footsteps from behind me. I turned around, and there was Adrian. I gave him a huge hug. "Thank goodness. Your house USA maze! I couldn't find your room. What did your father say?" I asked. We started walking back to his bedroom.

"He said he approves of you! I'm so happy! He wants to meet Bella, too! She can come over whenever you'd like." Adrian said happily.

"I'm glad!" I kissed his cheek.

We entered his room. Adrian's Chat came out and he pushed my against the door. "How about we change the fact that we don't take part in such activities, Princess?" he whispered.

I blushed hard at the thought. "Another day." I pushed him off me, the pushing him to the door. I leaned in so kiss him but then pulled away laughing.

"I will not tell you tease me, Princess." He gave me a French kiss. "Let me bring you home." He transformed and carried me home.
