Chapter 7-Shattered (and more) Chat's POV

A/N: Before I start I am sorry for not making the scenes exactly the same as the previous chapter. I am just too lazy to do it that precise. Please don't hurt me! Read on!!

"Adrian!" Plagg complained. "I need cheese!!! And you need to go to school!" I granted his request and gave him, his cheese. Marinette is coming to school today! I hurried to get ready and run to school.

When I got there, Marinette and Chloe were arguing. More like Chloe insulting her. "Lay off, Chloe! She has enough problems, and you don't need to add to it." I scolded. "Go sit down and stop bothering her." Chloe protested but sat down. "I hope she didn't cause you too many problems."

"No! Not at all! Thank you though. for what you did." she responded.

"No problem!i hope you're doing well, Mari...nette." Crap! I slipped up. Hopefully she won't say anything. I changed the subject. "I like your necklace! Where did you get it?" I pried. Of course I already knew he answer to this.

"Ummm...no one in particular. I can't really tell. Sorry." She grabbed ahold to the necklace and looked as if she would never let go of it. As the day moved forward, Marinette was asked so many questions right and left. I kept a careful eye on her making sure she was ok at all times. It was lunch time as Chloe goes over to Marinette. Things were going to get nasty.

"Hey Marinette! Where did you get that necklace? I bet those stones are fake," she said flipping her hair.

"For you're information, Chloe, they aren't fake. These diamonds are real!" Marinette shouted at her.

"Who would buy you a diamond necklace? You're just a nobody!" Chloe threatened. She ran up to Mari and grabbed the necklace I gave her. I gasped as Chloe ripped it off Marinette's neck. She threw it on the floor causing it to shatter.

"No!!!" the bluenette yelled! She dropped the ground to carefully picked up all the pieces and clutched them to her chest. Mari stood up as carefully as she could, grabbed her crutches, and made her way to the lockers. Tears flew from her eyes. I couldn't keep it in any longer Chloe was going to pay.

"How could you Chloe?!" I yelled.

"What do you mean. It was just a measly little necklace," she glanced at her fingers. She doesn't even care!!! I was going to teach her a lesson.

"Oh you mean like this one?" I pointed at her necklace.

"Mine is real, her's wasn't," she looked at me with a scowl.

"Her's were real and a very special someone gave that to her. She can't replace it! But you can replace this one." I grabbed her necklace ripped it off of her and threw on the ground, mirroring her exact actions. I ran towards where Mari fled hoping to find her. I heard Chloe scream, but I ignored it.

"Plagg, claws out!" I heard sobbing in a nearby area when an akuma was heading straight for her. Marinette!!! I approached the ally she was in. The akuma entered her necklace, and a purple mask showed up outlining her eyes.

"No! I will not hurt Chat for you! I will not give you his miraculous. I love him, you hear!!! Get away from him and me!" she screamed. Thank goodness she didn't give in. I was about to approach her when she cried out in agony. She gripped her head as her tears fell to the pavement. She collapsed on the ground.

"PRINCESS!!! I yelled. I lifted her limp body, grabbed her crutches, and carried her home. To my surprise she was still capable of holding the broken pieces of the necklace. I know that this was a serious thing, but I couldn't help but notice how cute she was asleep. I finally reached her head and placed she in her bed. I went downstairs and quickly explained what happened. They thanked me and said I could stay with Marinette a little longer.

"Ugh...my head," she said as she stirred. "Chat Noir? What are you doing here why am I in my bed." I saw her glance at the necklace. All her memories must have come back because she immediately began to cry. "K..k..kitty, I...I'm so sor...rry."

"It's ok princess. I know what happened, so you don't need to explain ok? I can get you a new one a better one. I promise." I said sympathetically.

She shook her head vigorously. "You can't do that. This necklace cost a lot of money, and I don't want to you to spend even more for me. I am not worth the money."

"Oh, princess." I wiped her tears off her face gently while cupping her cheek. She leaned into my touch. "You are always worth the money. I would spend money on you everyday if I could." She smiled silently. I leaned down for a kiss. She met me halfway. I was hungry for her love. I pressed my lips harder to hers. I sucked on her lips lightly and pressed my tongue to her lips. She parted her lips slightly to grant me access. I slowly gave her a French kiss. Our practice dance continued for five minutes. "Je t'aime, princess. I will come back tomorrow with a new necklace ok?"

She nodded. "Chat?"

"Yes?"

"If you saw, the butterfly hasn't left this necklace. Hawkmoth told me that what I told him, he will use to his advantage. So promise, Chat. PROMISE ME, that if anything bad happens to me that you will not give up your miraculous for me."

"I can't promise you that. I care too much about your safety to leave you in a place like that. For as long as possible I will keep my miraculous, but if worst comes to worst I need you to be safe." I said apologetically. *beep, beep* My miraculous beeped. "Sorry princess, but I have to go. Give me the necklace, and please try to stay away from bad emotions. Goodbye, my love."

At the jewelers
"Hello. I am Adrian Agreste. I need a custom order done by tonight. Here is a sketch of it. Also a ring. Size 8. What are the costs?" I tried to be like my father, and I attempted to mirror his behavior.

"$5,000 dollars for both, Mr. Agreste," the front desk said. I quickly wrote a check and handed it to him. "Come pick them up at 10 PM. Thank you for your business." I left the shop and went behind to the dumpsters to throw away the now purple necklace. I dropped it in the dumpster.

"Don't come back akuma."

A/N: Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I am excited about next chapter!!! It may be a tad short so I am sorry in advance. Comment want you think will happen next chapter. The title will be: The Purple Necklace. Also if anyone wants to know. I write these chapters off the top of my head. I have never written anything down about this. I have the idea in my head, and it has changed quite a bit so far.
