Marinette's POV
I can't believe I can potentially  protect everyone from akumas. Then again almost no one has ever done it.

"Hey," someone touched my shoulder. Chat transformed back. "It's ok, princess. You can do this. I believe in you!" He gave me a smile and a thumbs up. I decided to surprise him so I leaned my head back in his direction and kiss him. This angle was fascinating. I really liked it. I opened my eyes, and Chat's cheeks flared a pink color.

"I didn't know my princess was so bold."

"Marinette! Chat Noir! Dinner is ready." My mama yelled.

"Let's go, Kitty." I said cupping his cheek. I led him downstairs to the dinner table by the hand. "What are we eating tonight mama?"

"Well your father and I decided to make pasta. I hope you like pasta Chat Noir," she said.

"Chat is just fine, Sabine," he said with a smile. Mama nodded happily.

"Mama," I started. "Before we continue, Chat and I are dating." I confessed stiffly.

"Haha. I knew that sweetie," she said sweetly.

"Really?"

"Of course! You can't hide anything from your mother. I have seen Chat sleeping with you before, and I've also seen that wonderful clothing line you made for him." I blushed of embarrassment.

"Mama! He wasn't supposed to know that!" I said in Chinese.

"Oh, sorry! They really are lovely," she said back in our language. Papa couldn't understand anything we say in Chinese. We use it to talk about private things.

"I already knew about those. When I don't see you right away I look through some of your stuff. Hope that's ok. Sorry princess." Another voice joined in.

"Wait, you know Chinese?" I said normally shocked.

"Yes, I do." He said nodding. "I do a lot of things besides visit you princess."

"Are you skipping out on any of these activities when you visit me?"

"Not today but I have before. It's ok. I would much rather see you anyway."

"You two are so cute! Basically made for each other." My mama said in Chinese.

"(Chinese) Mama! Also Chat, I am going to lock up all my stuff now! I don't like you looking through all my stuff." I said crossing my arms pretending to pout.

"(Chinese) Mari! I won't do it anymore! Promise." He said hugging me.

"Can you stop talking in Chinese? I would like to have a regular family dinner," papa said. "Chat, you may sit down next to Marinette."

"Thank you, sir." Chat said pulling out a chair for me to sit in.

"Thank you." I said sitting down.

"Now that everyone is seating go ahead and serve yourself. While you do that, may we ask you a few questions, Chat?" Mama said.

"Ask away," he said smiling politely.

"Okay. First of all, we can't thank you enough for saving our daughter this last time, and we welcome you to our house. You may visit whenever you would like. What type of activities do you do in your civilian form?" Mama asked.

"I don't need your thanks. I would do anything to help your daughter. I take Chinese, fencing, piano, and to help out with my father's business I model quite a bit."

"You sound very responsible and busy. So I assume you are inheriting his business?"

"Yes, I am. It is quite large so if you  think about what I think you are think about, I can support our family if we ever do get married and stuff like that."

"MARRIAGE?! Is that really what you guys are thinking about?! We are 17 for goodness sake!" I yelled.

"Calm down honey. We just wanted to get to know Chat. When do you plan on showing us who you really are?" Sabine asked.

"Well, I will show Marinette first but until she wants to know, I won't show her. My civilian part of me isn't who I really am. I am glad Mari loves me for who I really am." I could tell he was very sincere with everything he was saying.

"No more questions for now. So enjoy the food."

"Thank you so much! This is delicious." He said. He put his hand on my thigh making me want to squeal. I squirmed and slapped his hand.

"Are you alright, Marinette?" My mama asked.

"Just fine, I was just trying to get a bug off of me," I glared at Chat. I am least let him hold my hand. His ears suddenly drooped. "Excuse us, mama." She nodded at us. I lead him away to the living room. I hugged him knowing he was hurting. "Kitty, please tell me what's wrong."

"Huh? Oh. Sorry princess. It's just. I forgot what it feels like to have family. When I met your family, who is so happy, I never had that. I never had a stable family. This just made me a little emotional. Sorry Marinette." A single tear rolled down his cheek. I wiped it away, stood on my tip toes, and kissed him lightly.

"I'm so sorry, Chat. You don't deserve that. We are your family now, ok? I love you, Chat. Please don't cry." I snuggled close to him and let him cry on my shoulder for a change. Once he calmed down, we went back up to my room.

We were going to see what happened when I put the pin on. We stepped on the balcony just in case something too loud happened. "Ready, Chat? Nooroo?"

"You can do this!" Nooroo encouraged.

"Behind you all the way, princess!" Chat said.

I attached the pin to my usual brown cardigan. A blinding white light appeared. When I opened my eyes, a kawmi, identical to Nooroo except white, was floating in front of me.

"Hello, Marinette! I'm Clara! I am so excited to work with you."

A/N: Hi everyone!!! I hope you like this little idea of mine! I am excited to write the following chapters for you guys! This one isn't coming at 10 at night! Horray! I hope you are having an amazing day! If not you can get through it! If you haven't heard of the mass shooting in Orlando, it is absolutely horrific. This modern world is truly terrifying. If any have lost a loved one in the shooting, I am truly and deeply sorry.
