Chatper 19-Second Date

Marinette's POV

"Are you sure you're up for this, Clara? I don't want you to get sick again." I was very concerned for the poor kawmi. She insisted that she was ok. "Okay. Wing up!" I always loved the tingling feeling when I transform. It was night again not wanting to risk my identity to my parents, I couldn't transform past dinner. I flew a little further away from the center of the city bring Nooroo and Clara with me. If my vision hasn't betrayed me it looked like Chat was coming toward me. I hovered in place waiting for him.

"Hello, my lovely princess angel. You light up my world you know that?" Chat complimented.

"Of course I know that." I kissed his forehead. "I have an idea. Last one to the outskirts of the city gets kissed, and the other gives the kiss." I smirked. "I might wanna lose. I like dishing out kisses too though."

"How about we add that the loser buys ice cream? We can share." He smirked.

"Deal." I put my hand out signaling to shake on it. He grabbed my hand. I yanked him towards me and kissed him hard as a distraction. I flew as fast as I possibly away. I laughed at him.

"You are such a cheater!" He accused. I grabbed Nooroo and Clara put them in my pocket and rushed to the outskirts of Paris. Chat was racing after me. I flew up and then folded my wings back letting gravity take its course. This made me go a lot faster. I then opened my wings and flew the rest of the way. I did flips, twirls, and fun tricks.

"I beat you! You're buying the ice cream." I pointed at him. "Strawberry?"

"You cheated!" He was still fuming.

"Kitty, I will make it up to you." I landed to his level and gave him a light kiss. I grabbed on to his hair bringing him closer. He put his hand on my back closing in the space between us. Chat took over the kiss and sucked on my bottom lip. "Mhm." I moaned. I pushed away gently and said, "Let's go get that ice cream and then I need to train with Clara." He wasn't talking. "Cat got your tongue?" I teased. He pointed down and a large crowd of people were standing around us. I felt heat come to my face but I quickly ignored it. Some people were recording us. "Sorry everyone!" I started. "No questions today. Chat and I are on a little date so can we have a little alone time?" I asked politely. The crowd of people started dispersing. "Thank you!"

"You're amazing, princess." Chat said. I smiled and flew down the building landing softly on the ground. He slid down his pole. We walked hand and hand to the nearest ice cream parlor. "One medium strawberry ice cream please."

"Of course. This is on the house. Thank you for protecting our city." The cashier said.

"Thank you." Once we got the ice cream we went on top of the building sitting in the edge letting our feet dangle.

"The night is beautiful." I said staring at the stars.

"Not as beautiful as you," he said flirtatiously. I didn't want to argue with him so I let it pass. "Here open up." He held a spoon in front of my face full of strawberry ice cream.

"Chat! I can feed myself," I protested.

"Stop trying to get out of it. Just eat it." I opened my and ate the Wice cream he was giving me. "Princess, come a little closer." I sighed turning to him. He licked the side of my lips. I turned bright red. "Sorry princess I just wanted to help you get the ice cream off."

"You silly cat," I said slightly embarrassed. I could tell that my face was still red. We are the rest of the ice cream. "Thanks for the little date, Kitty. I have to train with Clara. You are welcome to come along, but I don't want you to get a lack of sleep. I know your really busy."

"Ya, I actually have a huge photo shoot tomorrow morning. My father will hate me if I am late. Goodnight, my love." He gave me a quick kiss and made his way back to the center of the city. I waved to him and sighed with happiness.

"Ok Clara. Teach me how to do this." I was confident that I could learn this.

"Ok. Put your hands together but leaving a gap in the middle. Picture a butterfly. A white and pink one. Picture it flying into a citizen curing them. This should feel similar to shoot your magic. Now try." I did as she said putting my hands together in from of my face. I closed my eyes tightly focusing everything I had into this butterfly. All I got unfortunately was a huge sphere of energy. I crushed the ball absorbing its energy. I tried again visioning a butterfly. I saw a child crying. I pictured the butterfly protecting the child. My world went completely black.

Clara's POV

"Marinette!" Nooroo cried out.

"Oh no! She fainted. She might not wake up till tomorrow. She hit her head pretty hard," I pointed out. Luckily no one saw it. "We need Chat Noir!" I panicked. "You can still contact him with your mind right? Do it now!" As Nooroo was communicating the message to Plagg, Marinette changed back. This was a good thing, too. I hovered around she face. "I'm sorry, Marinette. Help is on the way." I hugged her cheek.

"Plagg said they are on there way! 10 minutes tops. Chat is worried sick." Nooroo informed me.

"Oh Nooroo. This always happens. I should have told her first. This is how the first obtainer died. She did this mid-flight, and she fainted falling to her death. I can't have that happen to Marinette." I was so worried. So many of the girls who I gave this power to end up perishing. I took away more lives than saving lives. Tears spilled out from my eyes. I landed on the roof. I felt little arms rapped around me. "Thanks Nooroo. Your the best." I hugged back.

"Clara! Nooroo! Where are you?" we heard chat call.

I waved frantically trying to gain his attention. "Over here!" I yelled. I saw him sigh. He was out of breath so he must have rushed here.

"Did you know this was going to happen?" he questioned. I nodded sadly. "You should have told me. I would have stayed to protect her."

"I'm sorry, Chat Noir. This was all my fault."

Chat scooped me up in his hand and said,"I'm sorry, Clara. I didn't try to blame you. I am just worried about Marinette. Hop in her pocket, and I will bring you all back to her house. We both nodded and flew into her shirt pocket.

Chat/Adrian's POV

She still looks as beautiful as always. I jumped carefully from house to house. When I picked her up, she immediately snugged into my chest. "Kitty, your really warm," she slept talked. She was exhausted. Her job really is dangerous. Next time she trains I need to supervise her. I am assuming that she fainted as she tried to summon one of those butterflies. Once I got to her rooftop, I quietly made my way through her trapdoor. I tucked her in, and said,"Goodnight princess." I kissed her forehead. "You two. Please take good care of her." They nodded. I decided to leave a note for her. I left the room and jumped into the night.

A/N: Scene!!! I hope you liked the little date. My friend and I were reading it over. She has never watched this show...she is a sinner I know. We were very amused by my writing. I hoped you enjoyed the whole chapter. Make sure to vote and get my story out there! I love you guys so much! For tomorrow since the 20th chapter is coming out, I might do a question and answer since I have seen a bunch of authors do that before. 20 chapters is a big mark for this story. So feel free to shoot any questions you want at me. I will answer all of them since my story isn't that big yet. I may give you a little more info about my if there aren't a lot of questions.
