I took a deep breath as i entered the only place in the world I don't want to be. My new school. The metal ornate gates looked down to me as if to say: You'll never fit in. Were way too good for you.

"Well it has to be done" i sighed to myself. I took a step in and i was immediately greeted with noise. Just a lot of noise and busyness. After a few hours, okay minutes of walking around awkwardly, I roughly got knocked over.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion as my papers went flying everywhere as i fell to the ground. There was a stabbing pain on my tailbone, and I'm pretty sure i broke a rib or something, but at that moment i didn't care. Because the most beautiful eyes i had ever seen were staring down at me.

And it seemed he was checking me out too. But our little moment was interrupted when the school bell rang in my ears, and we turned back to reality.

"Oh My God!! I am so sorry!!! Are you okay!!" he gasped mouth still open in shock.

I couldn't help but stiffle a giggle as he apologized. "I'm fine thanks, but I think were going to be late to class.."

And just like that I had made my first friend at my new school. Not too bad eh?

"I'm Adrian. And you are..?"

"Sky. I'm new here-" I was cut off as Adrian gasped.

"Ah. One of the newbies. Well let me be the first to welcome you to St Francis High" He said.

I couldn't help but laugh "Thanks. Could you show me to the administration office please..."

And just like that we got talking about St Francis.

"So Sky, I'll see you at lunch" Adrian said as he dropped me off at my first class.

"Sure. And thanks for showing me around." I said with my most flirtatious smile.

"No problem. Good luck with your first class". I desperately hoped he wasn't late

"Thanks, I'll need it."

And as soon as Adrian left I was alone again.

I awkwardly walked around the room hoping just for a place to sit. People looked at me, some with scowls on their faces or others just fascinated expressions. It was pretty off-putting.

"Hellooo everyone" A loud accent boomed in my ears, which immediately let me know that this man was a born and raised New Yorkie. Everyone almost immediately sat down as a posh looking man strode into the room who must be our teacher. Of course, at St Francis High, posh kind of is the norm.

Oh Great. I thought. I was the only one in the room who wasn't sitting down. I had made a big effort to make myself go unnoticed. Now all that effort was gone as I desperately looked around the room because I honestly had no idea what to do.

The teacher squinted at me from behind his glasses as he said: " You... must be Sky!" Oh man. if there was any thing worse than a stuck up teacher it was a overenthusiastic teacher. "Sky is the newest member of St Francis High. And I ..." He paused for a dramatic feel. "Am your home room teacher, Mr Donovan" He said his name as if he was addressing an award. This teacher was annoying me more by the minute.

"You can sit right....next to Taylor."
"Taylor?" He addressed.

"Yes sir" said a pretty looking girl with auburn hair who must be Taylor. She looked like the only normal person in he classroom. I just hoped she was nice.

I glumly walked over to where Taylor was sitting.

"Just don't mind Mr Donovan. His a bit full of himself. And crazy." Taylor said as she pulled out a chair for me .

I felt relieved that someone would at least talk to me . "I completely understand where you're at." I replied

"I'm Taylor. Welcome to this crazy place we call our high school."

"And I'm Sky."

"Now enough with the chit chat ladies there's time for that at lunch time." said Mr Donovan . "Let's get on to our class.."

Through the whole class, Taylor and I talked about ourselves . She was very laid back person and extremely easy to get along with. I wonder if Adrian were here.... Adrian!!

In all the stress of a new class I had completely forgotten about Adrian. His messy- but still stylish chocolate brown hair. Those most gorgeous blue eyes that looked like crystals. They were the first thing that made me fall in love with him. Was love the right word? Of course not. We had just met!

I wonder what he would be doing right now. Hopefully not being scolded for being late. I wonder if he liked me. I wonder if Taylor and Adrian knew each other. Gosh this train of thought has a lot of 'I wonder' in it.

By the time the bell for lunch came, me and Taylor already became friends. I felt that I could definitely trust Taylor.

"Finally. Time to get out of this torture of a class. And you.. are going to meet my friends." Taylor said as the bell for lunch went. Wasn't I going to see Adrian? Oh well. I'll see him at the cafeteria.

I basically dragged my bag that weighed tonnes out of the class and into the cafeteria. Soon we arrived at Taylors table, which consisted about 6 people. And .. Adrian!

" You guys know each other?!" I said to Taylor and Adrian.

"Of course we do. The real surprise is that you and Taylor know each other." Adrian replied.

Taylor stepped in front of me. "You know Adrian already! That's cool. One less person to introduce. Sky, Adrian is my oh-so sweet boyfriend."
