What? I don't think I heard correctly. I kept hearing Taylor's melodious voice over in my head: Sky, Adrian is my boyfriend.

I wasn't angry, I wasn't that sort of person. I wasn't upset either. I was just shocked. And there was no reason to be. Taylor is beautiful. Why wouldn't Adrian be going out with Taylor? It wasn't like I liked Adrian or anything. Well, I had a crush. But just a tiny crush. That didn't matter. Anyway who wouldn't have a crush on Adrian? Why do I have to ramble so much?

I smiled and said "That's great! Wow the best people I know at this school know each other!" I was a pro at masking my feelings.

"Well you must be exhausted from your first class. Eat?" Adrian said pointing to the sandwich and chips I picked up from the café.

"Yeah, God am I hungry!" Actually the news of Taylor and Adrian had kind of made me lose my appetite.

"Let me introduce you to my other friends. This is Natalie" Taylor said to a girl with obviously unnatural sleek black hair that was pulled back into a neat ponytail who had a warm smile.

"This is Katelyn" Taylor continued pointing to a cheerful looking girl with big brown eyes and slightly frizzy dark brown hair. She continued with the rest of her friends and here's are the ones I remember:

- Tasha was a sophomore that sat with us, had golden brown hair and felt the need to always tidy her hair every two seconds (even though it never ceased to be perfect)

- Tyde was particularly good looking (But obviously he didn't compare to Adrian) with a natural tan and light brown hair with that was nicely styled. He also had a stylish faint accent of some sort that added to his charm.

- Sydney had bright blue eyes and strawberry blond hair that fell around her shoulders. She was pretty welcoming as she embraced me in a hug as I was introduced.

- And I just think this is the last one; Ryan with golden blond hair, and I've heard a rumour that he once did modelling. Still cant compete with Adrian though.

Everyone had almost the same reaction: A hug or wave or cheerful hello. But throughout the whole lunchtime, I was thinking about Adrian and Taylor.
