42 - Him and Your Kid (2/4)

Ashton -

You pushed a cart through the supermarket, scanning the isles.
"Mommy! Can we get Fruity Pebbles, please?"
You looked down to you adorable 3 year old daughter in the carriage of the cart and smiled.
"We'll see."
She shook the stuffed turtle toy (I had to) in her hand with annoyance, and you pushed along.
"Mommy, I want Fruity Pebbles!" She said in a whine.
"Shh," you tried to calm her down, people were already looking at you disapprovingly without the tantrum.
She threw down the toy and it landed at a strangers' feet.
"Mandy!" You reprimanded her. "That is not okay!"
"Excuse me," you heard, and the stranger offered your daughter her toy with a loving smile.
She smiled back at him, and calmed down.
"Thank you," she whispered, just before the stranger turned and left.
"Your welcome," he said, his smile brightening.
You looked at the handsome stranger, and wondered if he was single.

Calum -

"Y/n!" You heard Calum call from the other room of your house.
"Mommy!" You heard your son call also.
You dried your hands on dry washcloth and stopped washing the dishes you were currently cleaning.
You stepped into the living room to see both Calum, your husband, and Kyle, your son, in push up formation.
Calum looked at ease, but your son looked strained from just holding it up (same).
"Okay," Calum started. "Let's go down. One!"
They both went down. Well, Calum went down, and Kyle pushed his butt down.
He harrumphed in annoyance.
He crossed his arms, pouting. Then his eyes lit up and he scrambled to stand.
Mind you, he was only about one and a half.
Then he clambered onto Calum's back, his tummy against Calum and his arms and legs wrapped around his abdomen.
"Go, Daddy! We push-up together!" He said happily, moving up and down with Calum's steady push up.
You smiled at the sight in front of you, your two favorite men.

I got Calum's idea from my uncle who actually does that with my cousin and I could just totally picture Calum doing that

I PLAYED AT CARNEGIE HALL YESTERDAY AND IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE
