If there was one thing you learned in sharing an apartment with your boyfriend Ashton, it was that apartment walls are paper thin.
Ashton was in the living room watching soccer, and you were doing the dishes in the kitchen.
You figured that over the sound of running water and the sounds of the TV would drown out everything else so you started singing to yourself, something you didn't like to share.
And who knew that someone like Ashton, who's presence was very noticeable, would be able to sneak in and listen to you.
"Y/n," Ashton said breathlessly. "You have an amazing voice!"
Out of surprise you dropped the utensils you were washing.
"Ashton!" You exclaimed. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't be like that y/n, I heard you. You're so good, why did you never tell me?"
"It's never going to get anywhere, plus I don't like crowds."
"Nonsense. You're way too good to go unnoticed."
He took your still wet hand and dragged you to his guitar and small set of recording equipment.
"Come on, you'll make it major." He said.
