You looked to your left and laughed at something y/b/n had just said, both of you along with the rest of the seniors making your way to the cafeteria.
You both shoved through the crowd to get to your usual table when suddenly heads started turning in your direction and conversations died down to whispers.
Y/b/n nudged your left forearm a little bit, nodding to your right.
You turned to see your boyfriend Calum making his way towards your table with a guitar in his hand.
"Calum?" You asked, confused.
He only looked at you and smiled, then stepped onto the bench to the top of the table, now catching everyone's attention.
He looked slightly nervous as he cleared his throat.
"Hello," he started. "As you may know, my name is Calum, and I have the best girlfriend in the world, y/n."
He made eye contact with you and beamed and you beamed back, practically melting.
He continued.
"My whole world revolves around you," he said, still looking at you. "It's all about you."
Then he put the strap around his neck and strummed a chord.
Then he started singing one of your favorite songs, It's All About You, looking at you and smiling the whole time.
With the last chord, he took of his guitar and set it on the table.
He took another deep breath.
"Y/n, will you go to prom with me?"
As you looked into his eyes the whole cafeteria held their breath.
You nodded your head. "Yes! Of course!" You yelled in happiness, and jumped on the table next to him, and engulfed him in a tight hug.
He kissed the side of your head as he wrapped his arms around you, and the whole cafeteria was clapping now.

So the other day I was reading a 5sos Fanfiction (what's new tho smh) and in the story Mali-Koa was 25
I literally said to myself "wow 25 that's so old Calum is only 18"
Then two fRICKING hours later I stop what I was doing and just thought
Calum isn't 18

This bitch is gonna be 21

...
Why
This actually hit me so hard
