School was officially done and the boys were extremely happy. They all had decided to go to different universities and such some of them even decided to go to the schools in the same city. Luke was going to New York and so was Calum. Luke was attending none other than Pratt University for the arts. Calum was going to Juilliard to study music for a living. Michael was also heading towards New York to study at New York University. Michael didn't have any exact plans for college or what he was going to study for. Ashton on the other hand was planning on attending Stanford instead of Columbia, Ashton refused to be his father and maybe it was the fact that Stanford offered Ashton a full scholarship. Even though, it seemed that Ashton and his father relationship turned around completely. It was still awkward between the two but they couldn't change the past. It would still hurt Ashton to even think about what his father did to him and his mother. Let's just say that Ashton's mother was upset and even refused to let Ashton live with her at all. Ashton had no choice but to live with his father and his new family. It was quite good because Ashton got to know his brother,Danny, more. Lauren finally accepted the truth of none of Ash's friends were going to like her and Ashton was so happy about it. Luke was finally getting a chance to showcase his artwork in a gallery opening tonight. The boys said that they will be there nice and early but knowing Mike, he probably will show up at least 30 minutes late. Mike couldn't even keep track of time at all. Luke was sighing while messing with his tie. "Come on Luke, you look fine" Ben complained to Luke and Luke just glared at Ben. "It's my very first gallery opening. I can't afford to look horrible" Luke folded his arms across his chest. "And you won't" Ben folded his arms while against the doorframe. "It would look worse if you show up to the gallery late" Jack pointed out to Luke. "Okay, I'm ready" Luke faced his brothers and all three of them was out the door with a smile painted on their faces. Ever since Luke talked more, Jack and Luke had actually became quite close not as close as Luke and Ben. Luke and Jack were complete opposites of one another but they did care about each other. Jack never wanted to see Luke hurt and the thought that someone would sexually abuse his brother made him pissed because Luke will always have to deal with an eating disorder for the rest of his life. Luke, Jack and Ben all entered the art gallery and Luke had one of the biggest smile on his face. "Luke Hemmings" Luke turned around and saw Ash. Luke ran towards Ash placing his lips on his boyfriend's lips. Ash lips turned into a smile placed on his face. "I missed you so much" Luke pouted while Ash shook his head. "You just saw him yesterday" Mike now said jumping into the conversations while holding Cal's hand tight. "What about you two, you hung out all day with each other. How's living together working for you" Ash commented at Mike and Mike once again rolled his eyes. "Have you guys seen Ryan yet" Luke asked Mike and Cal. "Nope haven't seen him since I got out of the hospital" Cal shrugged his shoulders. "Cal, is that crackers with cheese" Mike asked Cal while pulling Cal away towards the server who was holding a tray of crackers with cheese. "I swear Mike needs to get a grip on food" Luke nudged Ash and Ash let out a smirk. "You know what Luke Robert Hemmings" Ash mumbled in Luke's ear. "No what Ash Fletcher Irwin" Luke responded. "I can never get enough of you" Ash started to mumble on Luke's ear. "Hello guys brothers in the room and second get a grip both of you, we are out in public" Ben stated to Ash and Luke. Ben was now holding Mandy's hand. Mandy and Ben have been going out and Ben was absolutely smitten by Ash's older sister. "Yeah nobody single wants to see that" Ryan announced and Luke turned around to hug Ryan and in response Ryan hugged Luke back. Ryan and Luke friendship was slowly kindling back, it may never be the same when they were middle school too much went down between the two for them to super close. "What happen between you and Jade" Ash asked Ryan and Ryan just shrugged his shoulders. "It turns out I don't actually like girls. It really turns out that I'm gay not bisexual" Ryan stated while popping a piece of gum in his mouth. "I could have told you that" Mike said while interjecting himself into the conversation. Mike's mouth was covered in crumbs and food was still in his mouth while he spoke. "Mikey, what have I said about talking with food in your mouth" Cal told Mike while he wiped the crumbs off Mike's face. "To not do it" Mike pouted which caused Cal to kiss Mike's cheek. The owner of the gallery came into the room with a smile on her face. "Ready for your moment" She asked Luke and Luke sighed but he had a smile on his face. "Welcome to the gallery showcase, this week showcase is done by an upcoming artist, his collection is called New Beginnings. Please welcome Luke Hemmings to the stage" She spoke into the microphone at the podium of the gallery.

Luke walked up to the podium and licked his lips. Ash gave him a thumbs up and slowly Luke saw his parents walking into the gallery. Luke couldn't help but smile bigger. I'm not sure if Luke ever mention but his parents were totally against the arts that includes performing arts but it sure does seem like his parents are finally being supportive. "Um, hey guys. I called this collection New Beginnings because my artwork does show evolution and does show a new chapter of my life" Luke told the audience that was on the floor. Luke stepped off the podium while the gallery owner told everyone to explore the gallery. Each and every piece of artwork that hung in the gallery was Luke's. "You guys made it" Luke exclaimed to his parents. "Wouldn't dare to miss it" Luke's mom hugged Luke tight and Luke's dad shook Ash's hand. Luke dad did approve of Ash mostly because Ash was attending Stanford in which Luke's dad did attend. "How are you son" Mr. Hemmings asked Ash and Ash just smiled. "I'm fine sir" Ash responded while grabbing Luke's hand. Everybody was socializing and most of Luke's artwork were sold. Luke and Ash sat on the rooftop just watching the sunset like they did every Friday night. "I'm going to miss this" Luke confessed to Ash while his head laid on Ash's shoulder. "Luke" Ash said to him quietly. "Why did you have to pick to go to college in California" Luke asked Ash while taking his head off his shoulder. Luke and Ash are constantly arguing about this topic ever since Ash finally told the boys where he was heading. "We have two more months to hang out Luke" Ash crossed his arms. "Long distance relationships never seem to work out" Luke mumbled.
