We came off the airplane, it was a pretty nice flight I had to say. We got there in the middle of the night. Mike and Cal were holding each other's hands. Mike ran to a person that I had to consider was his family member. Mike was laughing his head off and waved everybody over and so we all walked over. "Guys this is my cousin, Sarah and Sarah this Ash, Luke and this is my boyfriend Cal" Mike grabbed Cal's hand and smiled hugely at Cal. "Wow never thought I would see my cousin in a relationship ever" Sarah mentioned to us but she had a big smile. "I bet you guys are pretty tired" Sarah led us to her nice Range rover car and we looked at Mike with questions. "Oh, right Sarah is an actress, singer and model" Mike shrugged his shoulders. "She's getting her own show that is filming in Canada" Mike was ranting but I could tell that Mike was proud of his cousin. "Mike, stop bragging to your friends" Sarah scolded to Mike and Mike just shrugged his shoulders. We arrived at her house and I couldn't help but gap at how big it was. It was on the beach. We entered her house and it looked amazing and everything. Luke was pretty much drawing on his sketchbook probably taking in every sight. "Well, don't stand there pick your rooms" Sarah winked and me and Luke rushed to find a room and we managed to find the best. Luke looked around the room with amazement. The room was fill with paintings and Luke had this big grin plastered all over his face. Sarah was standing against the doorframe. "Mike said you were into art" Sarah mentioned to Luke and Luke grabbed her into a hug. "Dinner is in the kitchen" Sarah walked out of the room and Luke fell back against the bed and I pulled him on top of me. "I can't believe we in California. This is the farthest I have ever been from home" Luke confessed to me and I just nodded my head. "Me too, this will be cool for you and who knows you might find some artist you admire" I nudged Luke and Luke just smiled and shook his head. "You are so ridiculous you know that" Luke said and we faced each other while lying sideways. "I know but you love me, can't deny that now can you" I told him and Luke shook his head before placing his lips on mine. "We should get some dinner" Luke hopped off the bed and I followed suit. We walked into the kitchen and saw Cal and Mike already munching on the pizza and Sarah was just shaking her head in amusement. "Michael, you haven't changed at all" Sarah told him and Mike just faced his cousin. Mike's smile was now replaced by a frown. "Michael" Sarah touched his arm and Mike flinched a little bit. That's when I realized that Mike wasn't fine. Maybe he wanted to go to California to get away from the town. "Don't call me that" Mike stated to her while shaking his head and walking back to his room. Cal followed him and Sarah looked so heartbroken and I just rubbed her shoulder in comfort. "He goes by Mike" I smiled at her. "It just brings some bad memories for Mike about your Uncle Andrew" I told her and even though I felt sick mentioning his name. I had to inform her about Mr. Bridges. "What happened" Sarah asked me and I looked towards Luke and Luke nodded his head. "He was sexually assaulting students" Luke said to Sarah and Sarah faced the way Mike went. "He did it to Mike" Sarah looked at us and we just nodded and Luke down at his arms and I pulled my sleeves down. "He did it to you guys too" Sarah asked but it sounded more of a statement. "Yeah, that's how we became friends" I told her and Sarah eyes went wide before she hugged me tight and she was apologizing and did the same thing to Luke and Luke just shook his head. "Sarah, it's okay" I told her and motioned her to Mike's room. Sarah rushed off to Mike's room and while me and Luke just kept messing around with the pizza. "Well, we off to a good start aren't we" Luke mumbled to me and I just nodded my head. "I'm shocked that Mike didn't tell her about Mr. Bridges" I said and Luke just shook his head. "I can't even say his name without wanting to throw up" Luke confessed to me and he looked down at my wrist while I kept tugging my sleeve. He stopped me and just looked at me. "Ash, what's going on" Luke asked me while facing forward staring at me. "I just a little ashamed of my past scars. I don't have bracelets to keep them covered" I confessed to Luke and Luke just smiled at little at me. "It's okay Ash. I'm not going to judge you at all" Luke took my hands. "It's bad, it's worse than Cal's" I informed Luke and Luke just shook his head. "Why don't you let me be the judge" Luke pushed my sleeve up and Luke just stared at my arm. "I told you that it's bad" I was about to push the sleeve down and Luke shook his head. "Don't you dare Ash. I want to hear every scar story" Luke smiled at me while kissing my scars. "Thanks Luke" I told him and we started eating and Luke just smiled at me. "I told you Ash that I love you and i mean it with all of your flaws and such" Luke put his head on my shoulder. "I love you too even though you lacked in flaws" I responded to Luke and Luke just punched my shoulder. I yawned and so did Luke. We walked back to our room, Luke leaning on me.
