Cal was get  weaker and weaker. There was nothing I could but be there for Cal. He sicker and I knew that eventually that he was going to die soon and it broke my heart. He had his head on my chest and I was rubbing his back and Cal just hummed in content. I was glad that I could help ease his pain. "Cal" I called out to him and Cal opened his eyes and looked up at me. "If there was one thing you could do before you die what would it be" I asked him and Cal just bit his lip. "I always wanted to get married, you know have that big celebration thing and even fall in love. Mikey you are the love of my life and I'm pretty sure that won't ever change just know that" Cal was rambling on and I kissed him on his lips and Cal smiled at me. He was boiling hot and I grabbed the cold washcloth and placed it on his forehead. "I love you too" I mumbled to him. "I can't imagine my life without you" I continued to tell him. Cal was still smiling at me and I just smiled at him back. "What else you want" I asked Cal and Cal just shook his head. "I have everything I could ever dream off. I have you and family and I have fallen in love which is more than what I thought I could get" Cal kissed my cheek and I turned on the tv. My door opened slowly and I saw Dad coming into my room. He had a small smile and I looked down at Cal who sleeping and I moved out of bed. "I'm going out dad" I told him before grabbing my car. I parked the car and I was thinking to myself was I really going to be doing this. I loved Cal and Cal deserves to get everything he ever dreamed off. I opened the store door and I picked out the item totally fit Cal's personality. The question would be when to do it, and how to do it. Was I being stupid taking this leap. What if he says no to me and then I will be embarrassed. I walked through my house with the item in my pocket. Cal was still sleeping and Dad saw me and he left the house like once again. I got the downstairs ready and put on a tux that I thought was so strange for me.

 I heard footsteps coming down and music was playing softly. Cal's face was with shock but a huge smile was now on his face. "Hey may I have this dance" I asked him and Cal and I started dancing slowly to the song while the room was lightly dimmed. Cal laid his head on my shoulder. "Mikey this is beautiful" Cal said before he had a coughing fit and he quickly sat down trying to catch his breath. I sat down on the floor looking at Cal with amazement and that's when I knew it. I had to do it even when Cal is sick, I can't help but fall in love with him. I took his hands and Cal stared at me. I reached into my pocket. "Cal T. Hood will you marry me" I asked him and Cal covered his mouth with shock and I could see the tears fall from his eyes and that's when Cal nodded his head. Cal got up from the chair and I hugged him tight. Cal grabbed my face and kissed me hard. "I love you Mikey Clifford" Cal whispered to me and I smiled at him. "I love you too Cal." I slipped the ring onto his finger. 

"It's beautiful Mikey" Cal commented to me while trying to catch his breath and that's when I noticed that something was wrong. Cal collapsed on me and I checked his pulse, it was getting weaker and weaker. "Cal, don't die on me, we haven't even gotten married yet" I begged him while picking him up and put him the car while rushing to the hospital. I was speeding but I didn't care in that moment. I picked Cal up screaming for help and I was now left in the waiting room with my head in my hands and I finally let tears slip from my eyes and I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was a little girl, she was frowning at me. "Are you okay" She asked me and I just nodded my head. "I'm just waiting for my brother to be okay, he was in a car accident" The little girl spoke and I just nodded my head. "My fiance is in that hospital room fighting for his life" I commented to her and she grabbed my hand. She was so cute and innocent, she didn't or should be in the hospital room. "Calum Hood" I heard his name being called. I rushed to the doctor. "i'm his fiance" I told her and she gave me a small smile. "We got him breathing normally and his pulse is back to normal but his body is shutting down because of the cystic fibrosis he has. He will have to stay here for the time being or maybe even till he passes away" Doctor informed me and I nodded my head. I walked into Cal's room. I grabbed his hand and Cal smiled at me. He kissed my cheek and I smiled at him. "You scared me to death" I commented to Cal and Cal just frowned at me. "I know and I'm sorry" Cal apologized to me. "You can't die without letting me marry you and let me to call you my husband." I pointed out to Cal and Cal just let out a laugh but it was soon turned into coughing which had blood coming up. He sighed and urged me to get on the bed with him and I cuddled him until we both fell asleep on his hospital bed avoiding all of his wires and tubes.
