I thought heavily about what Cal said about expressing my feelings. I was in Ash's car and he was driving me back to my house which was surprisingly close to his house. "Ash can we talk" I asked Ash and Ash parked the car in my driveway and Ash just nodded. "Yeah, what's up" Ash was now facing me and I sighed. "I'm happy for you but I never told why I don't want you to go to California" I looked down at my hands and Ash grabbed my hands silently urging me to go on. "I guess I'm worried that maybe that you wouldn't want me after you see all those much better looking people in California" I sighed while saying all this in one breath and Ash tilted my head up and he put his hand on my forehead. "I love you Luke Hemmings that won't ever change. You see that ring on your finger, I promised you that i wouldn't go anywhere and I mean it" Ash gave me a smile and I kissed his lips and hopping out of the car. "I'll see you tomorrow" I called out to Ash and Ash smiled and waved bye. I watched Ash drive off and I sighed and had a smile placed on my face. I entered the front door of my house. I saw my parents in the kitchen just laughing. It was strange to me to see them so carefree, they used to be like this before work became a thing. "Oh Luke" Mom greeted me and I smiled at her. "How are you" Mom asked me and I just smiled at my mom. "I'm fine mom" i told her and on my way out of the kitchen, I turned around. "By the way, we are thinking about going to California" I said to my mom and dad and was about to walk out. "Who is we" Dad asked me and I turned around. "Oh, you know Ash, Cal and Mikey" I rubbed the back of my neck. "Luke, do you think it's right for Cal to go since he's sick" Dad pointed out to me. "He wants to do this. Dad, whether we all want to admit or not, he's sick not dead but he will be eventually. Cal deserves to have fun and not worry about his health and California is might be the only time we get to hang out the four of us" I ranted to my mom and dad. Mom sighed while pushing her hair back. Dad looked deep in thought. "Let him go" I heard Jack voice interject. "I mean come on, he's no longer a kid" Jack continued to fight for me and I was really glad he was doing this for me. "Okay, have Ash's, Mike's parents approve of this trip and do you know where you'll be staying" Dad questioned me and I shrugged my shoulders before answering the latter question. "Mike has a cousin that has a house on the beach that we can stay in" I said to my dad. "Okay but you guys are going to take our family jet" Dad announced to me and I shook my head. "Dad please I rather take the public plane" I complained to my father. "Take the private jet or not go at all" Dad folded his arms and I looked at arm for support but I wasn't getting it. "Why does it matter" I asked dad and Dad sighed. "Because that way Cal has oxygen on the plane incase he has a coughing attack and we do not want me to pass out and you will be taking Dr. Stewart" Dad announced and I sighed but nonetheless agreed. I rushed to my bedroom and took out my laptop to skype the other boys. "Hey guys" I greeted all of them. "I spoke to my parents about the California trip" I informed them and Ash smiled at me, "and what they said." "Oh, you know take the private jet and take our private doctor with us so that Cal can be okay" I said it in the most casual way I could possibly way.  "Wait you have a private jet" Mike stated shocked. "Anyway, did any of you guys have time to talk to your parents" I now was changing the subject. "My dad said I could go but my mom said no" Mike shrugged his shoulders. "So what you going to do" Ash asked Mike and Mike shrugged his shoulders. "Mom doesn't have custody of me so I can go if my dad said it was fine and he did" Mike gave us a smirk that somehow I missed terribly. I could tell that Cal was liking. Cal kissed Mike on the cheek. "Aren't you guys in the same room" I asked to Cal and Mike. "Yeah and" Mike folded his arms.  "Don't you guys think that strange" Ash interjected into the conversation over skype. "You're strange" Cal stuck his tongue out and I rolled my eyes. "Wow how childish" I commented to Cal in which Cal stuck his tongue out once more. Just like that Cal's camera went out and so did Mike leaving me and Ash alone.  "Bet you they having sex" Ash commented and I rolled my eyes. "Of course they are, they are such horn dogs" I replied to Ash's claim. Ash nodded his head in agreement. Ben burst through my bedroom and I just glared at him while he pushed me out of my chair. He was now sitting in front of my laptop and I was on the floor glaring at him. "Why isn't your sister answering my texts" Ben was asking Ash and Ash shook his head but I heard him yelling Mandy to get her phone. "Got your answer" I asked Ben while pushing him out of my room and I locked my door and I sat back in front of my laptop and Ash just smiled at me. "Your brother is too much" Ash commented to me. "Don't I know it" I said to Ash and we ended the skype call.
