"Are you fUCKING KIDDING ME?" I threw my only pencil at Luke. "Ow hahah! What?!" He laughed, and deflected the pencil with his hands. "Are you freaking serious?" I groaned in frustration. Is this guy really serious? He came all the way outside to ask me where's the toilet? Out of all people in there...
"Well the boys made fun of me when I asked them to ask your family for me," he reasoned shyly. "Ugh, I wonder why," I rolled my eyes. Unbelievable.
"Come on Luke!" He said, holding his crotch. I pointed to the bushes outside, "Have fun Luke."
"Are you fucking kidding me," his mouth hung open. I giggled. Then I looked back at my notebook and said, "First door to your left."
I knew he heard me but I couldn't hear him leave. Then I heard footsteps vibrating under me until it stopped, next to me.
Luke made himself comfortable next to me. "Uhh what're you doing?" I asked, although I could clearly see what he was doing. "Sitting right next to you of course," he said, leaving absolutely no space in between us.
I rolled my eyes. I understood that the steps to my porch was narrow but that didn't mean there was absolutely no space at all that he had to freaking squeeze into me.
I moved a little to my left side since he was squeezing on my right. He shifted to my side again. I sulkily turned my head away from him. "Awww, is someone here having a little fit," he said with his baby voice. I pivoted my head even more to my left although it wasn't possible. I cracked a small smile.
Then he turned my head around, his hand under my chin. Then we had that little moment where we observed each other's eyes. I don't know what he saw in me but I saw curiosity behind those blues he had. He eyed my face. Instead of focusing into the depth of his eyes, like most girls would, I focused on where he was looking. His eyes travelled from my eyes, to my nose, cheeks and made a stop at my lips.
I was nervous, so I bit it. He licked his lips and let go of my chin. "I..uh.. I'm gonna go umm pee."
"Yeah, okay..." I said and watch him awkwardly stand up, tripping a little on himself. "First on the left," I called out to him. "Yeah, got it thanks," he replied. Then I turned around and watched him go.
I sighed. Well that was certainly weird.
But it was also something. Something I couldn't make out. I looked up to the sky. I wondered why I didn't do that every single night I was living. It was certainly a view that I could live with and never get bored of.I watched as the moon and the stars shared the same sky. They'd gotten along so perfectly. Although they look like they'd never move out of place, they're somewhere up there, dancing to the sounds of shooting stars passing by.
I asked myself if anyone would be the star to my moon, or maybe perhaps the moon to my star. I liked being the star. Not the celebrity kind of attention star. The sky's star. Always petite, different and ready to shine. Maybe I shouldn't be too picky on relationship.
"Azalea, come on inside, it's getting cold here," I heard's Arzaylea's voice at the door.
"Yeah coming," I sighed. I didn't want to leave this mini retreat I had but of course, one way or another, the house would have to swallow me back in.
Well whatd'ya know, I step into the house and this what I see. Luke and Arzaylea locked in an embrace, I can't say accidental but they looked shock to be in each other's arms.
"Whoops, sorry to bother," I purposely cut and walk right through their embrace. "Uhh, sorry about that, I tripped onto my own shoe lace," she told him apologetically. "Yeah, it's no problem," Luke shook it off.
I looked at Arzaylea. She was wearing heels, and they sure as hell didn't have no shit laces.
Why was I getting jealous anyway? So what if she wants Luke as her new toy. Wait, did I say I was jealous? No no, I was so not jealous. That would be the last feeling I'd ever feel when it comes to Arzaylea. I was ummm, annoyed, right, that's the word.
I was looking down at the ground so much when walking, I almost ran into Calum. "Whoa hey," he said when he abruptly stopped me from bumping into him. "You alright?" He had both hands holding my side.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I shook my head. "We're gonna roll okay? Thanks for the awesome dinner," he said. "Yeah, no problem, thanks for coming," I smiled.
He walked pass me and behind him was Michael. "Thanks for having us over," he swooped down (because I was a million times shorter than him) to level with my face and gave a quick peck on my cheek.
I looked at him with my smile wide open. "Hey," my mom smiled from the kitchen where she could see us. "It's just a friendly kiss Mrs. R," he called while walking to the door. "Thanks for inviting us over," he said again when he reached the door. My mom answered him and they all left for home.
