Chapter Six

Kerigan

Once  the door latched shut, I sank against it. Tears sprung to my eyes and I covered my mouth to hide the sobs that threatened to escape. I whole heartedly took him into my arms after he had just willingly took someone else's life.

Did you forget who he was? Who am I? God I cleaned his neck better than a shower could! Am I becoming... Just as bad as them? I beat the shit out of my friends. That freak Slenderman congratulated me on beating up his sons. Toby, I... I manipulated him... I'm becoming my fucking mother!

No. You're not. Unlike your mother, you will survive this stronger than you were before. I push my hair back, trying to adopt a steel resolve, my hands shaking gently. I stand up, and brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth.

So what if you like the taste of blood? You don't kill people. Your tastebuds aren't your fault. I push my shoulders back, staring at the fading bruises covering my skin. I sigh and wash my face, then walks out and gets dressed in a pair of jeans and a grey tank top that says "Bitch" in cursive. Toby watches me as I pull my hair into a pony tail and smile at him.

"Where are you going?" He asks cautiously.

"You and I are going to the store." I smirk, tossing him a pair of jeans and a tee shirt. He frowns.

"N-Neither of us have any money?"

"Who said anything about paying?" I whispered, searching for my small purse. He widened his eyes at me before slipping into his jeans. I crack my knuckles and smirked as I slipped into a pair of converses, and he followed suit.

"You're a bit cocky today, huh?" He asks once we step out side. I hum and lace our fingers together, pulling on my sunglasses.

"Nah, just feeling a little rebellious." I cooed at him, and we walked the block or two into downtown. The sky was navy blue, the full moon making it as bright as it ever would be. We stepped inside the store that Jeff and I had gone before, which was kind of like the dollar general back home, and I led him to the cosmetics. I hummed, shoving eyeliner and eyeshadow and lipstick and everything I liked into my bag almost imperceptibly. Toby watched wide eyed at my barely noticeable thievery.

"You're really good at this." He whispered without moving his lips. My lips curled into a smirk, and I dug out a couple dollars that Jeff had given me out of the wallet they had captive. I grab some new black nail polish and a clear coat, then heads up to pay for it, Toby trailing behind me.

The cashier was the same one as last time, the white skinned woman with pure black eyes. Like the demons on Supernatural. She smiled at me, her teeth all razor sharp like a sharks, and scanned the small bottles.

"Thank you for shopping with ussss." Her 's' hissed as her forked tongue twitched like a snakes. I smiled at her and nodded, taking the makeup and starting to head out.

The door bell clanged as we were about to walk out, and in stepped someone with a clock for an eye, and long messy, nasty, looking brown hair. Her one emerald eye swiveled up and down Toby's body, before she smiled almost hungrily.

The cold, lustful expression in her eye was the only thing I recognized from my dream. Simulataneously, my hand tightened in Toby's as his tightened in mine. I growled, much like Jeff would have, and she shot me a glare and scoffed.

"Slut." She hissed, and Toby grabbed my arm to keep me from jumping her.

"At least I have the man I want, cunt." I growled, my instant hatred for her heating my anger. Her eye darkened before the tinted store door blocked her from my sight.

"What the hell Kerigan? You're shaking? A-Are you okay?" Toby asked worriedly.

"Fine. I don't like her." I grumbled, starting to walk again.

"Who? Clockwork?" He mumbled in confusion.

"That's that sluts name? More like ClockWhore." I hiss, and he grab my chin, making me look at him.

"Babe, t-take a deep breath. Why don't you like her?" He grabbed my hands, pulling them against his chest. I frowned, staring not into his eyes but at them. I felt my eyes go unfocused as my mind just completely pinpointed the colour of his eyes.

"I had a dream about her. She tried getting you to break up with me, so I grabbed your hatchet and-"

"Kerigan! Don't EVER attack Her! G-God, do you have a death wish?" He suddenly snaps, and I frown, my focus on his eyes breaking as I glare into his eyes instead of at them.

"It was a dream-"

"So don't ever t-try it."

"She fucks with me, and you better believe I'll bury that hatchet into her skull!" I snapped, and the door swung open suddenly at our side. The slut stood there, her tank top noticeably lower than before, and much more mid-riff was showing. She grinned at Toby, the corners of her mouth sewn up, before her eyes turned sadistic and she glared in my direction.

"I'd like to see you try, little girl." She growled cockily, and my fist curled up, and I took a step towards her before Toby grabbed me and pulled me back. She crossed her arms and legs in a way obviously meant to make her tits and ass look bigger, and leaned against the wall. "Teach your cub control. Or... Maybe there are something's you don't want her to have control in?" She purred, and internally, against my will, I got excited at how closely that quoted a line from one of my favorite books, Vampire Academy, but filed the joy away to be replaced with pure, unadulterated hatred and rage.

"You little cock-sucking loose-muscled fuck-toy dick-slut." I hissed, and from my back pocket, the black blade that Toby had gifted me for christmas appeared. I suddenly lunged at her, and she jerked before Toby had ahold of me, and pulled me back.

Static exploded, and suddenly we were in our room. My head pounded and nothing was balanced correctly. I groaned and collapsed on my knees, holding my head.

"C-C-Colourful c-commentary..." He mumbled, looking exhausted and shaken. I groaned again in response, trying to catch my breath. He chuckled slightly and rubbed my head. "Good girl..." I purred and let myself relax, trying to work through my first time of what I now know as Slender-Porting. I felt bad, knowing how badly it can hurt someone to Slender-Port with a human or even just someone without the ability.

"Okay... I think we should lay down.." Toby mumbled, and I nodded slowly.
