Chapter Fourteen

Kerigan

The doors not coming down. Window you dipshit. I turned, my cheek still stinging as I took a few steps towards the window and threw it open, clambering out of it. Toby was already in Isaacs face, screaming and cussing as I ran up, and round house kicked his side.

He stumbled back in surprise, not pain, and the anger deepened. Isaac was still in shock as I advanced on Toby.

"YOU do NOT get to SLAP ME and WALK AWAY." I yell angrilly, and Toby takes a step back. I point a finger accusingly at him. "It is no ones fault he likes me. It IS your fault you're being a controlling, abusive prick."

"It's YOUR f-fault for being s-such a SLUT!" He yelled. Isaac started catching up and yelled angrily "HEY!" in my defense.

"IM the slut? GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW MANY OF YOUR VICTIMS YOU'VE TAKEN TO BED BEFORE THE GRAVE!" I screamed, my insecurities fueling my rage. I felt my eyes tearing up.

Shut up you retard! You're ruining everything! No no no! They'll know you ran now shut UP!

Toby's fist was suddenly in my hair, jerking me onto my knees and lifting me from the ground. Isaac charged him, and Toby stuck out a knee, throwing it into Isaacs ribcage, then kicking him over as I give a screech of pain, grabbing my head.

"TOBY!" LJ screams as he dashed out of the house towards us. My hand heated, and there was the smell of burning hair as I ran it through my hair, severing all that he had a hold of. I grabbed my head, tearing up in pain as Toby went to grab for me again, his eyes so familiar, but I couldn't tell from where. I didn't know if I was looking at Toby or a demon.

They're basically the same thing.

Jack tackled him from the side, and I reached out for Isaac, making sure he was alright.

"I-I'm fine, couch witch.." He coughed out, wheezing. I wiped my face on my hand and held it over his stomach. I don't know how I knew it would work, but I whispered gently to myself, "Heal that which is broken, Soften that which is bruised," and my hand started glowing. I felt my body drain of energy and his eyes became sharp again, then dulled from the magic filling his body.

"You HAVE to teach me that." I giggled slightly as Jack restrained Toby. Jeff and Slendy helped me up, my legs weak and shaking as they guided me to the house. Jack dragged Toby into the house and up the stairs, every one but Jeff and Isaac upstairs yelling at Toby. Jack came down with a knife and held it out in the air, his face hard-set.

"She needs blood to get her energy back up. I'm not human anymore, or I never was in this life time. Isaac, you're technically dead so I don't know how well yours would work but Jeff, I know you don't particularly like having knives against your OWN skin-" I finally caught up with what he was saying.

"Wait, no! Nono, I don't need to feed, Jack, I'm fine!" I called defensively.

"I'll do it." Isaac said, and I felt my face heat up.

"No, God Toby would fucking rip you to pieces. I don't need blood."

"Kerigan, you're exhausted. Look at you." Jeff mumbled, and Isaac stuck the knife in the wood of the table.

"Fine. If you won't take our blood..." He turned and opened the fridge, silent for a bit as he searched. Jack and Jeff suddenly gasped as Jack facepalmed and mumbled "Why didn't I think of that?"

"Think of what?"

"This." Isaac pulled out a Tupperware bowl filled with dark red blobs, floating in what was obviously blood. I frowned.

"The fuck is that?"

"EJs kidneys." Jeff mumbled, and cringed as they ripped the top off, and used a soup ladle to scoop the dark half-gelatinous liquid into a cup. I nearly threw up.

"What the actual fuck! Why does he have kidneys! I'm not drinking that!"

"You need to drink something." Jack snapped, his normally very faint English accent coming out thicker in anger. Isaacs still has never shown back up.

"I'm not going to drink cold gelatinous blood." Grimacing, I looked away from the cup.

"I could nuke it for you." Jeff offered, and I gagged immediately, covering my mouth and shaking my head frantically.

"Oh for fucks sake." Isaac snapped, and took the cup, downing the liquid. In maybe two-point-five-seconds flat, he had the cup empty, the knife in his hand, and his wrist bleeding into the cup. I gasped and launched up, throwing my hand out to stop an heal him when Jack sat me back down. I felt a wave of dizziness strike me and grabbed the table as my vision blurred and pain ripped through my skull. I suddenly couldn't see straight, and nothing in my head was right. Where was I?

Who was I?

"Here, drink this." A familiar voice said from somewhere far away. I felt a round cup being pushed into my hands, and up-ended the warm liquid, the sweet, almost like melted chocolate tasting liquid, pouring into my throat, every drop into my stomach.

My fatigued and loopy state snapped away with one harsh break, where the light was suddenly too bright and my heart was pounding. My tongue lashed out against my lips and lapped up every drop of the delicious substance. My whole body buzzed with energy.

"What was that?" I whispered.

"My blood." Isaac mumbled, wrapping his wrist. I snapped my head up to look at him, seconds before he pulled his sleeve down over the bandage. He looked up at me and smiled, and I felt guilty. "Don't worry Couch Witch, I heal fast."

"You shouldn't have done that. In grateful but-"

"Oh pish posh. Hush it. You've taught me so many things the least I can do is feed your ass." He reached out and hesitantly ran his hand over the short patch of uneven burnt hair on my head. I winced, both in memory of why and how, and from the pain still stinging from being jerked around by my hair.

"Cmon. Follow me." He said, and held out a hand for me to take.

I stood and allowed him to carefully place my palm in his as he lead me to the bathroom.
