That's all that ran through my mind.

I WAS in love with Emsley. But, how can you fall in love with someone so quickly? It isn't humanly possible, but Emsley and I were supposed to be mythical creatures. I debated with myself mentally for over an hour while Emsley played with my air, aimlessly.

"We should run away together for a little bit," I sighed, rubbing my sore legs.

"I'm up for that," Emsley said, "Wanna go now?"

I cocked my head, "We don't have a plan, or any mon--"

"Consider it done," Emsley smiled, picking me up. He took me up to the roof, and held me close to him. "You might want to hang on tight," He said.

"What--" But I was interupted by Emsley's wings. They seemed to multiply in size, and grow out of their shaky black color, turning white. I grabbed onto him, and he wrapped my legs around his waist and held me even closer to him.

VVVVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

We rocketed into the sky, high up and at an incredible pace. Fire seemed to come out of Emsley's feet as we came even higher in the sky. We finally reached a spot where we could see our homestate California, all the way to Florida. I opened my eyes even wider than before, and looked at Emsley's grinning face.

"Like the view?" He asked.

"Heck yeah!" I smiled.

"I can go up here again since you're with me."

"What do you mean?"

"I have to protect you, Iris" He explained, "if I hadn't been protecting you all these years, you would've been a goner from Day 1."

I let this register in my mind as Emsley soared through the sky. What I saw was truly unexplainable, but I'll try to describe it. We could go so high in the sky that it seemed as if we would float into space sometime soon. Or we could go low enough that if I reached my hand out, thirty foot waves would skim against my fingertips. I saw geese, birds, pelicans, seagulls, dolphins, sharks, flying fish, whales, and even a squid floating dangerously close to the water's surface.

"What do you think?" Emsley asked, as a landform appeared in the distance. "It's amazing," I exclaimed, happily watching some sea otters float lazily.

"We're almost there," He smiled.

"Almost where?"

"Paris."

I know it's really short, and I haven't posted in a while but homework's been getting in the way. I'll post part 2 ASAP, just please be patient, my little darlings.
