Leo sent out a text to everyone when quite some time went by, asking if Jasper and London came back. Stephen, who was in a class with London and Mackenzie, who was in a class with Jasper both replied no. That rose great suspicions. Minutes later, a voice came over the intercom.
"Pardon this interruption. This is Principal Whittemore speaking. I have been told that seventh grader, Skai Nightshade has seemed to have left and is still not found. Two other students, Jasper Collier and London Fields, have not come back to their classrooms. We have reason to believe that they are friends of Skai and went looking for her. The safety of students are very important, and if anyone decides to join the students by leaving a classroom or building will be highly punished. If anyone knows of anything, tell the teacher and you will be sent to the main office to talk to me. So be safe, and make wise decisions. Thank you." The intercom cut off.
A few minutes passed as the intercom came on again. "Also, the friends of Skai Nightshade will be questioned about their friend's certain disappearance. Teachers, if you will please, check your emails at this time. Thank you again."
The gang did a group text and sent out worried text to each other.
Stephen texted, *What do we do now? Mackenzie and I are in the same class with them which makes us possibly to be questioned first*
Mackenzie replied, *Yeah, Stephen's right. And my teacher is on her computer right now, typing away*
Boston was more worried. *Principal Whittemore has had some trouble with London before, and she knows I'm her sister*
Leo texted to everyone, *Don't worry. They'll think we communicated during the time so delete all the text from now. When she questions you, remain calm and don't look directly at her, just look at a wall behind her. Breathe steadily and make sure nothing is shaking* Leo was always known as the problem solver and was the one who came up with the plan.
The bell rang and it was now free period. Each teacher of everyone was called by the office to tell one of the friends to come down. They all did what Leo said and got off easily. Principal Whittemore said she will have each student monitored the rest of the school day and will be accompanied to the bathroom by security.
They all agreed to stay after school to look around the schoolyard. Split into three's, they all searched the front and back of the building. In the back, Mackenzie found what London saw earlier: blood drops, but not as fresh. She called them over to the drips leading to the gardening shed. Charlie and Stephen searched it and came back to tell that they were there.
Spencer examined the area and saw some blood on the shed wall. Under a bush he saw something sticking out of it. He walked toward it and crouched down to pick the object up. It was a bathroom pass. "Uh, guys?", he said standing up. They turned their attention toward him. He held up the pass, which had blood drops on it.
Boston gasped. "What do you think happened to them?", she asked anxiously. Charlie came over to comfort her.
"I'm pretty sure they're okay. I mean, they couldn't have gotten far", he said. Boston nodded in agreement.
Boston noticed that Spencer looked like he was deciding on something. "Is something bothering you?", she asked him. He looked at her and sighed. Then he turned toward the whole group.
"There is something I need to tell you all", he said placing down the pass. " But you might not believe me. So for you to believe, I have to show you." They looked at him with confused expressions. He scanned their surroundings to make sure they were the only ones there.
Once he was sure, Spencer stepped back and winced. His body started to twitch and he threw himself to the ground. Then his body began to change. His nails became very sharp and so did his teeth. The group stepped back, frightened. Hair grew out from his sideburns and behind it his ears became pointy. Spencer had his eyes closed and when he finally opened them, it revealed them to be a bright yellow.
Spencer stood up which caused the group to stand back again. When to full height, he looked at them and said in a gruff voice, "I'm a werewolf."
