In her fifth month of pregnancy, Stevie's belly grew immensely. It was now apparent that she was pregnant; especially because of her height.

It had been an emotional day for Stevie when she's had finally felt the baby kick.
She thought her heart would burst with happiness; it was now becoming more real to Stevie and she loved every minute of it as she felt her baby move and kick from inside her.

Stevie was now at the end of completing her Enchanted box set. She just needed to write some notes and send in all that she wanted to be put into the booklet. It would take a few weeks to get a sample print so she can make sure it was to her liking.

Mick had told Stevie that Lindsey wanted to see her and to talk to her. He would call Mick asking to please at least give him Stevie's number or Karen's. Stevie told Mick to try to distract Lindsey for now and that some time soon she would call Lindsey herself.

Stevie decided to tell Lindsey about the baby but had yet to do so.
She knew she had to tell him sooner or later because they were in a band together surely he would freak out if she showed up with a child on her hip whenever they would begin a new album, rehearsals or tour.

She could tell him she wanted to have a baby and that she was artificially inseminated but no that wouldn't work. The baby would surely look like him.
But her fear is what stopped her from telling him.

Stevie and Christine hadn't been over to Mick's in the last few weeks and Mick had called one day to tell them that John would be visiting, he was going to cook them dinner and just catch up.
Stevie was worried that Mick had invited Lindsey, he was part of the band after all, surely he would want to visit with John as well.
Mick assured her that he wouldn't be there and that they were going to have a "guy's day out" the following day.
Stevie eased up and told Mick that they would be there after her doctor's appointment; she would finally find out the gender of her baby.

Stevie laid back on the exam table, her belly exposed, her doctor was moving the transducer around trying to get a good view.
The room was filled with it's strong heartbeat.
Christine held Stevie's hand as they waited for the doctor to speak.
"Ah! Here we go! I thought the baby wouldn't cooperate today." He said. "Alright Stephanie, you ready to find out the gender?"
"I'm ready!" She said with a smile.
The doctor turned the screen to Stevie so she could see. "It's a healthy baby...."

Stevie had tears of joy in her eyes as they drove over to Mick's. She couldn't keep the smile off of her face, she couldn't wait to tell Mick and John.
Her hand rested on her belly as the baby moved around, she closed her eyes and laid her back on the seat and began to hum.
She almost fell asleep and before she knew it they were pulling into Mick's driveway.

They all sat in Mick's living room after saying hello to John.
This was the first time John had seen Stevie, he told her how beautiful she looked and that he couldn't wait to meet his niece or nephew.

Stevie took out the ultrasound photo from her purse and showed it to Mick and John.
Both of them smiled and congratulated her.

Mick was about to head into the kitchen to start dinner when the doorbell rang.
Mick answered the door.

In the living room Stevie froze.
They could hear Lindsey's voice getting closer to the living room.
"Hey Mick, I know you said for me to come by tomorrow but I had to get out of the house for a little while. I was going stir crazy."
Stevie was about to get up and hide in the other room but she knew she wouldn't be fast enough, so she grabbed one of the pillows that were on the sofa and hide her bump as best she could with it.

Lindsey walked into the living room and said. "Hey Christine, John...Steph." His eyes finally spotting her.
He gave Christine and John a hug who stood up then turned to Stevie, he noticed she hadn't stood up.
So he bent down to give her hug while she sat as still as she could.
"It's good to see you Stevie. I miss you."
"Um...it's good to see you too." Stevie said nervously.
Lindsey sat down on the sofa next to Stevie. She held onto the pillow tighter.

"It's so good see all of you. I haven't had much interaction with other people in a while; I hadn't been out of my house in so long since Kristen suffered the miscarriage. I try everyday to get her to leave the house and just do something, anything! As you know Mick, Kristen can't carry a baby to term, so I told her we could adopt or try surrogacy but she won't hear any of it right now." Lindsey just went and vented since he hadn't spoke to them in so long. "Maybe I should not bring it up for a while and let her heal and then I could bring up adoption again. As much as I would love to have my own child, I wouldn't mind adopting. There are plenty of children out there who need a good home and parents."

They all listened and gave him their support. Stevie was the quiet one, feeling the lump in her throat as she felt the tears stinging in her eyes, her hand on her belly behind the pillow.
She wanted to tell him and push the pillow away.
But before she could do or say anything she heard Lindsey say, "What's this?"
Lindsey had spotted the ultrasound photo that John had put down on the coffee table in front of the sofa after he looked at it.
Everyone's eyes grew wide and held their breath.
Lindsey scanned the ultrasound photo, confusion written on his face. "Who's having a baby boy?"
Then he read the patient's name, Nicks, Stephanie.

Lindsey looked up at Stevie who was looking away from him. He finally took in her appearance. He noticed that she looked as if she had a certain glow to her. Her hair was thicker and shinier, her face was rounder and he couldn't help but stare at her cleavage. Her breast were much bigger than he remembered.
"Steph?" He said moving closer to her.
She looked at him with tears in her eyes.
Lindsey reached over and pulled the pillow away and saw her very visible baby bump.
