*1 hour before Christine opens Stevie's front door*

The next day after Kristen's procedure, she was feeling much better. She did have some discomfort but it wasn't too bad.

Lindsey had locked himself in his studio all day and thought of nothing but of what he had to do.
He was dreading it but it needed to be done.
He looked at the clock and couldn't believe how late it was; he got up and poured himself a shot of liquor and gulped it down. He poured himself another and took a deep breath.

Lindsey made his way upstairs to find Kristen.
She was in the kitchen preparing to cook dinner.
Kristen saw him approach her with a pained look on his face. She stopped what she was doing and walked up to him. "Lindsey, are you okay? You don't look so good."
"Kristen, honey, I need to speak to you. I need to tell you the whole truth." He said as he looked into her eyes.
Her breath quickened. "What...truth?"
"Come sit with me in the living room, please." Before she could answer, he took her hand in his and led the way to the living room.
Once they were there he motioned for her to sit. "I prefer to stand." She said as she crossed her arms.
Lindsey nodded and said. "I...didn't tell you the whole truth about...Stevie and I."
Kristen was wide eyed. "Oh for god's sake, please don't tell me that you're still fucking her!"
"No! No, I'm not! Just...please hear me out before you say anything." He pleaded.
Kristen clinched her jaw and sighed out in frustration. "Go on."
"I've been lying to the both of you for the past few weeks. It wasn't my intention to lie but...once I told one lie, I told another to cover that one and it just snowballed from there. I haven't been sleeping with Stevie but I have been seeing her. I've been taking her to doctor's appointments and just helping her with whatever I can. Also, when I would tell you I was at Mick's, I was really with her and I've been telling her that you knew about the situation this whole time and that you were okay with it." He paused for moment.
Kristen's face turned red as her anger reached the surface. "What the fuck Lindsey? I can't even..." She turned her face away from Lindsey. "So, is..she sick or something? Because if she is, and you would have told me the truth, I think I would have understood."
Lindsey looked down and took a breath then looked into Kristen's eyes. "No, she isn't sick. She's...pregnant."
Color drained from Kristen's face. "She's...pregnant. But...why should you...care?" She said as she whispered the last word; her eyes widened
as the realization hit her.
"No!" She cried out, her hands over her mouth as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"I was going to tell you that day when I found out. Remember when we had that fight and I said I was going over to Mick's because I needed to get out of the house; well Stevie was there and that's when I found out she was pregnant. I don't think she was even going to tell me had I not gone over to Mick's. I was going to tell you that night when I got home but then you said you were ready to move on and try surrogacy; you looked so happy and, I didn't want to take that away. I'm sorry Kristen...I'm...sorry." He said as his own tears fell down his cheeks.
Kristen began to slap Lindsey over and over again. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD! I HATE YOU! YOU LYING PIECE OF SHIT!"
Lindsey didn't even try to stop her, he just stood there as her hands continued to hit him.
Finally running out of steam, Kristen fell to the floor, hugging herself. She rocked back and forth, continuing to sob; this was too much for her to handle.
She suddenly stood up and grabbed Lindsey's car keys. "I'm going for a drive! I have to get out of here; I can't breathe!"

Kristen ran out of the house and got into Lindsey's car before he could stop her. She put the keys into the ignition and started the car and put it into reverse. She quickly backed out of the driveway and sped away.
She didn't know where she was going; she just knew she had to drive to get away.

She drove aimlessly for a few minutes until she could no longer see through her tears.
She found a place to park and turned off the ignition. She crossed her arms on the steering wheel and sobbed into them.
"How could he do this to me? He cheated on me, but I forgave him because he told me the truth! No, he didn't, not the whole truth!"
Kristen continued her inner monologue.
She was angry at Lindsey for lying to her yet again. Yes, she would have been upset if he had told her the moment he found out about Stevie but at least he would have been truthful.
Then she was angry at Stevie; she was pregnant with her husband's child. It was supposed to be her to give him a child. Then she felt grief wash over her as she remembered the child she lost; hers and Lindsey's child.
She became angry again as she cursed herself for not being able to carry her own baby to term; she hated her own body.
Once she began to calm down, she thought of Lindsey's words. "I lied to the both of you."
Her anger at Stevie dulled as she now felt sympathy; she too was lied to.
