I have a character that refers to others primarily by their last names, so in case you've forgotten (because I most certainly did):
Eliza Mendel
May Wintergreen
November Moonwalker
Analise Windwalker
Marilyn Zavran
Veronica Fairfield
Lynn Wayward
Madison Nazareth
Jocelyn Irwin
Ebony Lambe
Luselva Lorelle
And Asterodea's last name has nothing to do with anything.

The entire unit- Eliza, May, November, Marilyn, Veronica, Lynn, Madison, and Analise- along with their companions- Ebony, Jocelyn, Luselva and Lennard - began their three day journey to Evergreen Wood at dawn.

"Here's the plan," Veronica had briefed them the night before. "Lambe and Irwin sneak into camp under a disguise-"

"What kind of disguise?"

"I don't care as long as it's effective."

"Can it be a duck?"

"What is it with you and ducks?" Veronica sighed as she regained the flow of the speech. "As I was saying, Lambe and Irwin will sneak into camp under a disguise-" She glared at Ebony as if daring her to interrupt her again- "and get the guards on the east and west sides out of the way. Wintergreen, Wayward, Zavran, and Nazareth will enter on the east side. Mendel, Moonwalker, Windwalker, Lorelle, and I will enter on the west side. We'll take out as many sorcerers as possible, surround Asterodea, and take her out as efficiently as possible. Clear?"

"Clear."

The plan itself was simple. The execution proved to be more than a little tricky.

Jocelyn and Ebony posed as countryfolk visiting relatives in the lower class. Their part of the plan was simple- take out the guards and take their uniforms.

Soon enough they were posing as guards- Ebony on the east, Jocelyn on the west.

Ebony saw May, Lynn, Marilyn, and Madison before Jocelyn saw Eliza, Analise, November, Luselva, and Veronica- and she knew this because she and her sister had a bet and a telepathic conversation on which group arrived first.

Guess I owe you, Jocelyn's voice rang in Ebony's head.

Ebony couldn't help but notice that Jocelyn was more subdued than usual. What was to be expected? She had lost her entire family and had been forced to flee from the only home she'd ever known. Now she was expected to fight against and kill the very same people she had grown up with.

Ebony couldn't blame her if she was almost a different person.

Ebony stealthily led the four through the forest. They reached the rendezvous point just as Jocelyn telepathically alerted her to Eliza, Analise, November, and Veronica's arrival.

Soon, the ten of them, plus one duck, were ready to wreak havoc.
