"Do you think we could escape the same way we came in?" May asked.

Eliza looked up at the hole in the ceiling they had come through. "If we hurry. Come on, Lisa."

May lept up and pulled herself up through the opening, Eliza right behind her.

As Analise started pulling herself through, she felt something snag her feet. She looked back. Asterodea had regained her feet and had ensnared Analise.

"You're not going anywhere, Sunshine," Asterodea taunted.

Analise tried to tug her leg away, but the invisible.
cord only tightened. She fell back into the tent onto the hard ground.

Asterodea advanced slowly, savoring her kill.

A burst of purple energy engulfed her and she fell to the ground, unconcious.

A black-haired woman walked in and helped Analise to her feet. "You okay, kid?"

Analise nodded.

"Lucky you didn't get it too bad. Aster's bad news. I'm Ebony."

"Analise."

"Eliza's Apprentice, right?"

She nodded again.

"Well, Anna, Eliza was absolutely terrified for you."

"Really."

"She seems to care quite a bit for you."

Analise stayed quiet.

"Come on. We'd better get out of here."

~~~
They all met up just outside the forest. Eliza hurried to embrace Analise. "Lisa- oh thank God."
Analise let herself be consumed. She was starting to see Eliza as a mother figure, and she suspected Eliza's affections toward her reciprocated her own.
"Lizzie. . ."
Ebony and Jocelyn stood off to the side with May and one other woman, about the same age as Analise.
Eliza looked over to them. "Let's go home."
Welcome back! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, but here you go. Hope you enjoyed! I'll start the next chapter soon, hopefully.
