*slight trigger warning*
Friday Night
My brother and I were spending the night at Nick and Penelope's house. Mikey and Nellie were doing what they always do in her room and Nick and I were doing what we usually do. Movie marathons. We were laying in the middle of his bed with our backs to the wall watching all of the Toy Story movies and this time, Nick was distracted by his phone.
I groaned and paused the movie. "Nicholas, what could possibly be more important than Andy's toys?"
He just continued tapping at his phone, so I kicked him.
"Why?" he asked, holding his hands in the air.
"Nick, what's more important than a Pixar movie marathon?"
"I'm, uh..." Tap, tap, tap. "Just texting someone."
"Ooh. Already moving on from that she-devil?" I asked, earning a glare from him. He was still sensitive about his breakup. "Sorry."
"It's fine," he sighed. "And no, I'm not moving on. I'm just texting someone."
"A girl?"
"Yes, Rem. A girl."
"Who?"
"None of your business."
I pouted. "Tell me."
"Nope."
"You asked for it."
In a quick movement, I leaped up and sat on his waist.
"What the hell are you doing, Remi?"
Instead of responding, I pinned his arms down on the wall with my hands and snatched his phone from him. I looked at his messages from the beginning:
Willow: Wyd?
"Ooh, who's Willow?"
"A friend, Rem! Let me go." He struggled to get my hands off of him, failing miserably in the process. "Goddamn, you're extra freaking strong."
"Maybe you're just extra freaking weak," I replied cockily, continuing to read his messages with this mystery girl.
Nick: I'm about to start a movie marathon with my friend.
Willow: That sounds fun. What's his name? Maybe I know him at school.
Nick: HER name is Remi.
Willow: Sorry! What's she like?
Nick: Why are you always so interested in who I'm friends with, Willow?
Willow: You know why.
Nick: I don't, actually. Why are you acting so weird around me lately?
Willow: Ugh, you don't get it do you? How can you be so blind to everything that's happened?
"What's happened between you two?" I asked.
"Ugh, Remi, I'm not sure. If you let me go, I could reply and find out."
"She's right. You are blind. Sounds like she likes you," I informed him.
His face twisted with confusion and doubt. "Impossible. Willow-... Oh my god, give me my phone back. I need to talk to her."
I smirked and tossed his phone across the room onto a beanbag.
"Remi!"
"What?" I asked innocently.
"Get off of me so I can get my phone."
