Willow's POV

“Willow!” Juniper screamed running through the castle. I popped my head out of the parlor where I had been with the guests.

                “What?” I asked seeing her.

“I need to talk to you, like now,” she said and grabbed my arm. I was dragged down halls and into Demitri’s room.

“Are you two finally going to tell me that you’re a couple?” I asked looking at the two of them.

“I told you she knew,” Demitri said looking at Juniper.

“Yeah, that is,” June said answering my question.

“But there is something else. Isn’t there June?” I asked looking at her.

“Yeah. We were by the lake and Demitri heard something and went to check it out and someone came out of the forest. He asked me to tell you that Noah says thank you for helping him and he owes you one,” Juniper sighed.

“Where is he?” I asked backing towards the door.

“He was by the lake, Willow, why did you help a shifter?” Juniper asked standing.

“I’ll tell you after!” I said and ran towards the back doors. I got outside and sprinted, and then shrunk and flew towards the lake. Noah was sitting down on the dock looking out into the water. I went to normal size and walked over to him. “What exactly are you doing here?” I asked.

“You got my message?” he asked spinning around.

“Yeah, thanks for scaring the shit out of my best friend,” I said walking over to him.

“I just came by to say thanks for not ratting me out to that dumb prince,” he said to me.

“Watch it,” I said glaring at him.

                “What?” he asked.

                “Nevermind,” I shrugged.

“So, do you wanna go for a ride?” he asked.

“Um, I guess,” I shrugged. “I think I’m going to fly,” I said as Noah got on his horse.

“What? No, come on,” he sighed offering me a hand. I slipped my hand into his and he lifted me up behind him. “Ready?” he asked as I reorganized myself.

“Yup,” I nodded. He made the horse take off running and I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist. He let out a short laugh but kept looking forward. Soon I started hearing the waves of the ocean and looked around. Eventually we stopped and Noah got down. I looked around from my spot on the horse. I could hear and smell the ocean but I couldn’t see it.

“Are you going to come down?” he asked.

“Yeah,” I nodded and got off the horse. Noah tied it up and walked with me through the trees and onto the sand. We walked past the dunes and down to the water. I took off my heels and walked on the moist sand.
