Willow's POV

I woke up and slipped away from Noah. Panther let out a soft meow and then curled up on Noah. I smiled and left my room. Downstairs I ran into David.

“Good morning Willow,” he said smiling at me.

                “Good afternoon,” I replied.

                “How are you?” he asked.

“I’m doing pretty good,” I nodded.

“Do you want to go for a walk?” he asked.

“Sure,” I said. The two of us went out the back doors and went into the forest.

“We haven’t really had time to talk since you’ve been back,” David said as we walked.

                “No, we haven’t,” I agreed.

                “How was college?” he asked.

“Amazing, absolutely amazing,” I answered with a nod. “What about you? How was learning to run the kingdom?” I asked him.

“It was okay, kinda boring, and stressful,” David shrugged.

“Sounds super duper fun!” I said sarcastically.

“Oh it was,” David smiled. We came to the dock and then looked out at the floating dock.

“Come on,” I said and jumped in.

“Willow, what are you crazy? It’s the middle of October!” David called after me.

“And?” I shouted over my shoulder. I got to the dock and pulled myself up onto the dock. David did a loud sigh and then jumped into the lake. I watched him as he got closer and closer to me. Finally he got onto the dock and we sat there.

“Remember when we were little and we were trying to see if I could make you walk on water?” I asked as we laid on the dock.

                “Yes,” David laughed.

“Wanna see if we can do it now?” I asked looking over at him.

                “Sure,” David nodded.

“Alright into the water you go,” I said standing. David jumped into the water and I cleared my mind and watched David. I focused on the water around him and then raised one hand. David was lifted out of the water in a pole of water. With my other hand I made the wind wrap itself around him and suspend him.

“You’re doing it!” David laughed. I got a little light headed and dropped David. “You were doing it!” David said getting onto the dock. “Willow, are you okay?” he asked touching my shoulder.

“My head feels light,” I told him.

“Lay down,” David said and helped me lay down on the dock. He was hovering over me, watching me. He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. My hand lifted up and held onto the back of his neck. “Willow,” he moaned against my lips. He pulled away and stared down at me.
