Willow's POV

“Willow!” the Queen said shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw her gazing down at me.

“Yeah?” I asked. I looked around and saw Noah standing up, looking uncomfortable.

“I came to personally tell you that you must attend the dinner tonight,” she said as I got out of bed.

                “What? Why?” I asked.

“David came down to talk to me when you apparently locked yourself in your room?” she asked.

“Why would he come to talk to you? It wasn’t a Gamebridge matter,” I said.

“No, it’s a family matter. That’s way more important,” she replied.

“Why didn’t anyone tell me?” I asked.

“That David was engaged? It never came up. She’s been at the Angels’ castle for the past two months organizing the wedding,” the queen said.

“So, I have to come to dinner, why?” I asked.

“Because I said so,” she said. “Now get up and get dressed,” she said.

                “Fine,” I sighed.

“Willow, might I talk to you in the hall for a moment?” the queen asked, her eyes darting to Noah and then to me.

“Yeah, sure,” I nodded. We went out into the hall and Jerold looked at me. “Jerold, can you go keep Noah company?” I asked.

“Yeah,” Jerold nodded looking between me and the queen. He shut the door behind himself and then the queen turned to me.

“You do realize that he’s the enemy?” the queen asked looking at me.

“He’s your enemy. I’m still trying to figure out why we’re fighting with them, no one will talk to me about it here so I figure he will,” I said. “And he’s not that bad,” I replied.

“Willow, you’re sharing a room with him,” the queen said.

“I’m a big girl, I know how to fight someone off,” I said. “He can’t hurt me, Jerold is always at my door and can hear everything we say,” I said looking towards the door. “I have to go get ready for the dinner party,” I said grabbing the knob. I opened the door and slipped inside. The boys looked up and stared at me. “Well that was fun,” I muttered going to my closet.

I pulled out a black strapless sparkling dress and closed the closet door so I was inside. I quickly undressed and threw my clothes on the ground. I put on the dress and then walked outside the closet. In the mirror I saw the guys looking at me with smiles. I put on some makeup and then straightened up. I grabbed my black high heels and slipped my feet in.

“I’ll see you guys in a few hours,” I said going to the door.

“Alright,” they said and I left.
