Chapter 16

Shane's P.O.V

I woke up before Joey , still kinda tired , but not wanting to stay in bed . You think the most in bed , and I was tired of thinking.

So I got up and planned on making Joey something to eat . Today he's starting the first scenes for his webseries ,Storytellers , so I didn't want him to worry about making breakfast .

I smiled at his sleeping face before I got up and put some clothes on .

While I was making breakfast I thought about what Joey said . About forgiving Sawyer .

If Joey wanted me to , I think I would do anything . The past is the past , and I think I could forgive Sawyer . For Joey more than for me.

Suddenly , a pair of arms wrapped their hands around my back and they snuggled their face into my shoulder .

"Good morning, executive profducer . " I said , hugging Joey's arms that were around me.

"Hey new chef. " He said , turning me around and kissing me .

"That was lame . " I joked , throwing some shredded cheese on him .

"Save it for the omlette ! " He laughed , grabbing a water .

"So you ready for your first day shooting the scenes ? " I asked.

"Yea , just a lil scared . " He confessed.

"Just know that if you mess up at all , you won't get a BJ tonight . " I told him, faking a serious face.

"Sexual jokes so early ? Bad Shane ! " He said , grabbing his phone and keys.

"You're leaving so early ? " I asked , surprised .

" Yup . One of the actresses, Jessica , is coming over to pick me up in like two minutes." Joey said , fixing his hair in the mirror .

"How do I look ? "

I smiled , " Fucking perfect . " I said kissing him .

"As long as I look good to you . " He said , kissing back.

"Ugh enough with the cheesy stuff ! " I chuckled.

Someone knocked on the door .

Joey looked out the peephole .

"Oh , there she is ! " He opened the door and there stood a beautiful oriental girl .

She had blondish - brown hair , obviously dyed. Pretty brown eyes , and in other words....

Exactly Joey's type.

"Hey Joey ! " She said giving him a hug . And the weirdest thing happened.

She glared at me .

Joey obviously couldn't see it , but I'm almost positive she did . Does she know ?

"Hey Jess ! This is my... roomie , Shane. " He glanced at me as I lifted two fingers at her in greeting.

"Hey. " I said smally.

"Hi ! Im Jess and Joey might come home late tonight - " she winked at me .

"If we don't leave right now ! " She finished.

I breathed a sigh of relief . What did I think she was going to say?

"Oh , shootity shoot shoot ! I forgot the script ! Be right back . " Joey said running upstairs , leaving us alone.

"So... weren't you on Awkward ? " I said , trying to make conversation.

"I was actually ! And their planning to make another season , so you better watch it ! " She said smiling.

I laughed . Maybe she wasn't glaring at me. She seems really nice .

Joey came back downstairs saying ,

" Alright , were heading out Shane ! See ya later!" 

Joey was about to lean in to kiss me when he remembered Jessica was still there , so he awkwardly patted me on the back. Jessica cringed . Why would she...

" 'Kay, bye Joey ! Um , later Jess." I said.

I closed the door and leaned agaisnt it,  sliding down until i was on the floor.

I realized it too fucking late .

Now she has all day to flirt with him .

And worse , she's gorgeous.

I felt myself getting sad.

Jessica likes Joey.
