"What do you mean by gone?!" Sonic shouted to the doctor who tried to remain calm in front of the stressed and angry hedgehog.
"That's right, yesterday he were here. When I walked in to check on him, the window was open and the bed empty" The wolf answered, trying her best to talk the hedgehog into reason, but with no success. Sonic turned around and ran out of the door, ignoring the screaming from the doctor to come back.
As he ran far away from the hospital, he wondered why Tails just decided to run away. Sonic ran around in his house and workshop. Nothing there, beside T-pup, Tails' little robot pup and helper, shut off. Why did his Tails just disappear without telling him? They are brothers for Chaos sake!
'Where are you buddy?' Sonic thought as he ran around Mobotropolis, searching for the two-tailed fox. Soon Sonic started to give up. He never does, but he couldn't find anything. He let out a long sigh and made his way back to his house to relax.
As Sonic opened the fridge to find something to eat, he saw a note hanging on a box of chaos cola. Sonic took the Soda and grabbed the note. Reading it carefully.
Dear Sonic
I am pretty sure you are gonna grab a snack sooner or later after searching for me, so I thought that you would see this note.
If you see this. You are probably running around the world to find me, and I know you must be worried, but don't be. Last night on the hospital something happened to me, looking up at the full moon I started to change, dramatically. My mind screamed after something I didn't want, so I broke out of the trance and flew back home, grabbing some useful stuff, something to eat and wrote down this note. After that I left.
I'm NOT telling you where, and DON'T try to look after me. I'm fine and safe.
Something is happening to me Sonic. I don't know what, but something bad. Please, do not look after me. I'm strong and can take care of myself. When I have found out what is going on with me, and it's safe, I'll come back. If it's not... I won't show myself...

"L-left?..."
That one word was the only word that escaped Sonic's mouth. He was shocked, angry and scared at the same time. Why did Tails left? The answer was already written down on the note, but Sonic couldn't belive it. Something so stupid like a feeling held his lil' buddy away from him. Sonic dropped the note and boosted out of the house.
'I'm gonna find ya buddy. No matter what you tell me'
