Hard rain hitting the ground, creating mud all over the forest floor. Cream is running. As fast as she can, but it's hard to run when her feet slips on the ground by running on mud.

Her eyes have witnessed something she never thought she would see. A monster out of her best friend. By taking Sonic's advice: she kept running until she could worry no more.
Her feet slipped. "Oh no-OO AAAAH!" She slipped and tumbled down a small hill. Her tears fell as she got ready for a gruesome impact.
...
But it never happened.

Something strong have stopped her from falling. Her heart and head aches with pain, heavy legs, the wind hitting her face along with heavy raindrops. Is she outide? Before she could think any more, her eyelids slid shut.

A small groan escaped Cream's mouth. "Mm.." Her eyes slowly opening to reveal a white painted ceiling. She blinked a few times before slowly pushing herself up in a sitting position. "Sweet Chaos, what a dream..." Cream mumbled and rubbed her eyes, taking a quick glanze at her surroundings. Her eyes widened. "W-Wait... Where am I?"

Cream appeared to be sitting on a double sized bed, royal-like walls surrounding her along with expensive furniture placed around the room. 'When and how did I end up here?'

"Enjoying your surroundings?" A soft voice spoke from the doorway to her right. The rabbit stiffened and quickly looked towards the noise.

"I-I.." She stuttered, only earning a soft chuckle from Tails who walked over to her with a tray of food.

"Hope you are hungry" He smiled softly as he put the tray on the bedside table. Cream took a quick look in Tails' eyes to see if he is ok or not. His color stood out this time, darker than usual.

"Why are your eyes darker than before..?" Cream asked carefully, gaining eyecontact with Tails. He were quiet for a short while before answering;

"I... Have been drinking more blood-" Cream looked scared, so Tails had to improvise. "-That I have gotten from the hospital!" Tails quickly added. Which made Cream look calmer.

"Well, stealing isn't good, but it's better than killing people..." She mumbled, happy that Tails chose the safe side.

"Eat now, I'll come back in a few minutes" Tails told Cream before he left the room, closing the door behind him. After Tails left, Cream looked at the food tray and scanned over it. What appears to be on the plate is pancakes and two small cups with syrup and the other with strawberry jam, a cup with tea and a few cookies. Cream smiled before she started eating. 'Did Tails cook this? If so, I would give him a star!'

Tails knocked on the door while Cream took a sip of her tea, still warm. "Come in?" Cream looked towards the door, which opened and Tails came into sight.

"Enjoying your meal?" He smiled and sat down on the bedside, looking at Cream softly.

"The food was delicious!" Cream squeaked, smiling and placing her tea-cup on the table. "Did you make that yourself?"

"I am not a chef, but yes. I do live here alone, remember?" Tails smiled at Cream a little, but despite her easiness, Tails could sense that she is uneasy about something.

"Something bothering you?" He asked out of the blue, which surprised Cream. 'How is he doing that?'

"There is one thing, before I woke up here I had a strange dream, but it felt somewhat real" Tails moved his ears.

"It was raining and the wind hit me as well, but I were somehow moving at the same time-"

"That was not a dream" Tails interrupted, looking at her. Cream looked back confused, Tails sighed. "You were running for some reason, but tripped and almost hurt yourself if I didn't catch you in time. What were you doing out so late?" Tails looked back at Cream with curiousity.

At that moment he asked what she were doing out that late, something made Cream remember why.

She didn't see Tails' curious face in front of her anymore, but his crazy one. It's like the memory took over her vision and replaced it with what she saw the day before. His eyes looked thin as a toothpick, eyes light red matching with the moon that was behind him that night. Blood covering his whole body and parts of his face, along with an insane smirk.

Without her even knowing, she screamed and moved away from him. The scream startled Tails at first, but he knew. Therefore he pinned Cream down to the bed, staring into her eyes.

The tea cup fell off of the table, breaking into pieces as cold tea slowly slid out between the broken parts.

"You saw it didn't you! The fight!" He shouted, angry at her.

"I-I!" Cream started shaking and moving roughly, trying her best to get out of his grip. "I told you to stay home! I told you I'd handle him!" Tails growled.

"I didn't think you would kill him! I heard screaming and I-"

"Should have stayed home!" Tails shouted at her, gripping her arms tighter which made Cream cry out in pain.

Tails noticed this and slowly went off of her, Cream crying. Before Tails closed the door, he took one last glanze at Cream. "You are not allowed to leave you hear?" Then closed it.

The tears streamed down her muzzle, the pillow soaking them in. Cream couldn't belive what just happened, she witnessed that Tails killed someone and now he keeps her here.

Thinking about Tails in their previous days made her smile, laugh and remember everything silly they did together. He was like a brother to her, a brother who was always there to comfort her.

Now he is like a monster, thinking about Tails now make her scared and trapped. He is way too strong for her.

She felt anything but safe.
