A Vampire's Wish

Sonic laid down in his bed, thinking through what just happened.

Yesterday he found Tails, his best friend, his brother who have been lost for eight years, but with a very shocking reason. Tails have been bitten by a vampire and have been developed into one himself. He also  could have killed Sonic easily if he didn't warn him in time.

For eight years he have been living in pain alone, away from other people so he could not harm them. Tails have always been a good guy, never wanting to hurt anyone. Good or bad.

The sunshine slid across Sonic's face just as he got an idea. It's a risky one and Tails won't like it, but he have to give it a try.

Sonic smiled to himself and jumped off his bed, turning around and ran downstairs towards the front door. He opened the door and crashed straight into a very known red echidna.

"Ow! Ok I know we are rivals, but that doesn't mean that we have to start a fight whenever we meet!"
Knuckles groaned annoyed as he rubbed his head from hitting Sonic's.

"Sorry Knux! Gotta go!"
Knuckles got up from the ground and looked at Sonic with surprise. "But Sonic! I have to- and he is gone" Knuckles sighed and shook his head.
'Why were Sonic in such a rush?' Knuckles thought as he began to make his way back home.

Sonicis runn as fast as he can through Leaf forest, trying to find the place where he met his best friend yesterday.

Sonic remembered that Tails attacked him around the place where they used to go when they were young. A place where only they could go and be alone. Under a very big cherry blossom tree near a cliff at the end of Leaf forest.

The moment he reached the exact spot he thought of, he remembered how Tails usually would act when they reached this spot.

He would always be out of breath when they reached the cherry blossom tree. Sonic would always ask if he was ok. Tails would turn to look at him with his round, ocean blue eyes, smile confidently and tell him he was up for another round. Despite how tired he was. His cute little brother, but Sonic had to shake these thoughts away. Right now he had to focus on his plan. Just as he was about to run somewhere else he saw someone running up towards him. It looked like... Cream! What is she doing out here?

"Sonic! A person in there is scary!"

Cream panted heavely as she sat down on the soft grass in front of Sonic to relax.
"Who is scary Cream?"
Sonic asked, worried that Cream got hurt, he checked her and luckily no wounds.
"I don't know... I didn't see who it was. He was too quick"
Cream relaxed a bit more and her breathing slowed down. She didn't need to say more to make Sonic understand who it is.

Sonic started to make his way towards where Cream came running from, ignoring Cream's confused questions. He needed to find Tails as quickly as possible, no matter the situation.

Tails is all grown up now, taller, a darker voice and a man in the shape. Sonic thought so much about Tails, that he forgot how far he have been running. He stopped to look at his surroundings.

"Great. Now what?"

Sonic, about to run towards another direction, stopped when he heard a branch crack. His eyes shot wide open and quickly turned around. Only to meet light red eyes behind a tree. By just looking at the red eyes, Sonic felt the pain and a scared expression, trying to tell him to run away, but Sonic stayed his ground. 
The forest around them had gone silent. A deadly silence that is, but Sonic didn't run nor avoid eye contact.

"Tails-"
The moment Sonic said that. He got met with an angry hiss and a fox shot straight at him, but Sonic is prepared and quickly jumped out of the way. The action repeated over and over again, before Tails changed tacticts by changing the direction he attacked in, making Sonic run straight into Tails' claws, pinning Sonic against the hard ground. The hedgehog let out an annoyed groan as he hit the earth and with Tails above him, holding him down. That was when he gained eye contact with his buddy. Sonic realized how wild he looks. His pupils thin like sticks, his eye color, red as blood, his fangs long and hungry. His eyes were staring straight at Sonic and they didn't look calm. Sonic had to admit that this time, he got scared, but he had to do this, for Tails.

The hedgehog let out a big shaky sigh and turned his head to the right, making a clear and easy way for Tails to bite him.
The vampire didn't hesitate, he bent down and dug his fangs into Sonic's neck. This turned out to be way more painful than Sonic thought it would be. His breathing turned heavier first, the the pain shot through him, making him scream and move his body out of instinct. Tails pushed his hand towards Sonic's mouth to keep him quiet. Tails had no control over what he is doing, he screamed inside, wanting the monster to stop hurting Sonic, but to no success. Tails' sight became blurred by tears, Sonic's sight too. His strenght left him like fog, soon he fell limp on the ground, passed out.

Tails slowly opened his mouth and let his fangs slide out of Sonic's skin, licking the remains and he let the wound seal shut. By moving his head up and looking around him, his sight felt better, easy-headed, sences clear and the voice in his head is nowhere to be heard.

'Did really sucking Sonic's blood help me?' Tails asked himself, but he shouldn't be surprised. He is a vampire after all, blood is like water to them, it helps their body to work properly. He looked down at Sonic's limp body and lowered his ears in sadness, tears streamed down from his eyes and down his muzzle, hitting the ground underneath him while clenching his fists of anger.
'Why- Why did I have to do this? Why am I a monster!?'

Tails, for the first time, let the tears fall freely, he tried so hard to not hurt any of his friends. Yet here he is, bending over a bitten and limp Sonic, angry for letting himself hurt him. There is nothing he could do to stop himself from harming him, but Sonic didn't fight back. In fact, he didn't even try. He opened a free way for him to take his blood. Tails wiped his tears and looked at Sonic with wonder.

'Sonic wanted me to suck his blood?'
