Chapter 2:  A Virgin! For A Bride

Areshia Ashley Mondragon POV:

Almost one month had pass and I haven't told anyone about my disgrace. I can't accept it! Up until now. That someone stole my first kiss! And to think, his completely a stranger. A stranger that is not part of the king's castle. I can still remember his lips to my lips and every time I remembered it, I felt my heart raise. So I end up holding my face for shame. To divert my attention, I focus myself in preparing for prince Gabriel's birthday.

Everyone in the castle have their own task to accomplish the 5th birthday of the prince. And my task is to fill-in different flowers inside and outside the castle. Well, that's the queen's suggestion after all. And I'm helping her to make it happen.

From the corner of the party. I heard a very loud voice booming around the palace. That made us stop for a while. He suddenly catches everyone's attention. Even the royal's their selves already got the attention of a young man standing behind the grand door. He wears the same outfit before, but he ties his very long hair. Oh my God! The man in the woods?! What is he doing here anyway?

I can still remember his masculine face and who might forget his beautiful eyes, that full of confidence when he looked at me before. Remember in the woods?

Guards are with him too. They wear the same expression and their so scary. I couldn't read them, because they wear a very black aura. Just like the man standing before us.

"The emperor needed a wife. And I'm here to personally choose for him." He said with full of conviction. His gaze is pointing straight to the king's direction. He wore a smirk smile he used to have in his face. It makes my heart rattle. I'm very sure of him. Those blue eyes hunted me like forever. Those hard muscles cap my small waist. And I can't even forget the kiss! Goodness! Gracious! I hold my mouth trying to erase the picture of him kissing me in the woods.

I tried to maintain my posture and pretend that I'm OK to everybody.

"You can't say no, to emperor's order." He said while walking to king Ethan directions. So fast that in the split of seconds he already gone there. Of course, they are vampires. And vampires have that kind of speed.

"As you wish." Ethan said looking to the stranger meaningfully. "As you can see, we are having a celebration for the fifth birthday of my son. So I guess your preposition that you talked a while ago, will be attain maybe next time?" The king said politely to the guest. But I felt the uneasiness with his words. His not comfortable with this man standing before him.

"Ops...I'm really sorry if I intrude your party." He said with an intense gaze to the king.

"It's OK, feel comfortable to enjoy the party. Together, with your companions. And, I would like you to meet my loveliest queen and my son Gabriel." The king put a strong emphasis of the queen's name, I wonder why?

"Indeed, she's very beautiful your highness." While slightly kiss the queen hands.

The king clap his hands and that signify to continue the party.

After that, the crowd seems back to normal. The food was served and the music turns loudly. As if its intentionally. It seems that the king is hiding something. He leaves after he talked to the crowd. And followed the young man in the staircase.

From the peripheral vision, I can see the guards setting in every directions of the castle. Which is odd. Their guarding something and I don't know what it is? Well anyway it's not my business to deal with.
