Cedric Carter Lafuente POV:

I'm back, with the intention of completing my revenge.

Flashback....

"You will return to the castle Cedric and get the ladies safe. That's my order as queen."

"That's impossible. The king knows about it." I diverted my attention to king Arthur.

"Stop with your complains and do what I say."

"Have you lost your mind? This is not the game that's easy to be solve?" I said with a greeted teeth. How could the queen say such words? Our enemy is very strong. And only insane person could go back to that lonely castle and fight the monster. Plus, I'm still in my senses right now. The queen never flinches to that possibilities. Instead, she continued to stick with her plans.

"We need a concrete plan before we dive in your highness." I said with a total defeat.

"Of course. I knew exactly what I'm talking about." She said proudly. "And you will be my accomplice for that Cedric. I hope you'll reconsider this Cedric. Since you're the only person knows the true form of the beast and even his weakest point." She seemed so sure about her declaration, that made me stop. "Don't be so shock. I heard you, quiet and clear."

Areshia Ashley Mondragon POV:

I don't know what's happening to me? The Emperor is back but still I didn't feel any excitement at all. To me, its just nothing but a burden in my heart. No matter what I do. Things will never be the same again. I can't stop my heart from wanting Bash. This is crazy. I know I'm crazy. But to feel this kind of urge towards Bash? Is a total defeat of my purpose in having me here in the competition? And to think I almost kissed him, in front of the emperor. Somehow it gives me chill, knowing that his there. But.... What if he will be possessive again? And touch me? Can I really control myself from touching him too? These are my thoughts came flooding to my senses.

But right now, we are having one on one talk to the emperor. And I'm the last one he wanted to talk. I thought its just a short talk, reminding me about the competition. But this one is different. His making me ready for the things that will happen soon. His planning to elope the palace, accompanying the ladies with that plans. But his sad knowing the two ladies are gone. After I said those words to him. He became so serious. He wanted to share something to me but his afraid someone might hear it.

"What's wrong?"

"The moon is shining tonight, right Areshia? Answer me?"

"Why suddenly asked me that?"

"Just answer me!?"

"Yes, it is your highness."

"Good then, I'll tell you everything tonight Areshia. Come to my room this evening. But you make sure no one see's you, including Bash. Do you hear me?"

"Yes your highness."

"Now go, don't look back to me after leaving this room. Straight where your room is. And try not to think anything about what I told you. My potion wouldn't last a lifetime."

"Potion?"

"Go! Don't ask. Any questions will be answered this evening."

"Yes your highness." Following his instructions made my heart tremble. I didn't expect that the emperor would be so scared about something.

Finally, the night turns so fast. I can feel the sweat in my hands upon entering his room. All is black. And it was too silent. I can't see any life but a shadow leading to the hidden door.
