Areshia Ashley Mondragon POV:

I was right all along. They pissed me in every sense of the word. There were times that they used their magic just to hurt me. But I never spoke to anyone about it. I hate complications, so I tried to avoid them and keep my mouth shut. They really are great pretender. They really knew how to act naive. And me, I end up locking myself in my own room hoping that those girls would really happy if I did. Less competitors less burden they said.

At first, I didn't mind them at all. But they continued hurting me. I wish I could have power to defend myself to my enemy. Not like this, feel so useless. I need to be brave. But how? I can't. Not, when they are all vampires. I was lucky enough that they don't know my real identity. But sooner, they will.

Even though; I live almost hell, and they are very eager to win the selection. I still need to pretend until the selection is done. This is the least that I can do to survive!

I open my drawer and looked to the strangest book that I got. I knew something strange about this book. Because every time I returned it, it always came back. Three times but still here it is. Occasionally found it in my bed. What should I do with this book? I read the cover page again.

When I open the book. Something in the cover page slice my point finger. The blood fell in the cover page, I wanted to wipe it using my handkerchief, for I am afraid that someone will know my true identity. But to my shocked it absorb fast in the book. After realizing what just happened. A sudden light coming from the book appeared. So strong, I cannot take my eyes off it. This is so unreal.

"My lady..."

"Ha!" I lost my grip to the book that I'm holding and It fill down to the floor. The light banishes in my sight.

"You shocked me..." I hold my heart in a grip way.

"Is there something wrong my lady?" She asked while moving to my directions.

"Ahhm stop." I raised my hand to her and that made her stopped.

"Why?" She said.

"Ahmm...nothing." While slowly shake my head and get the book and slowly put it inside my drawer.

"Dinner is served." She said trying to change the topic.

"OK, I'm coming with you."

Glad she didn't ask another questions again. She continued walking without looking to my directions. I'm still shocked about what I'd discover today. And I'm not really sure if she witnessed it too.

When I go to the dining area, Linda and Ullysses obstruct my way. I know they were going to surprise me with their silly tricks. I tried to act nothing but they were very eager to throw me a bucket of water. On contrary, Loraine continued walking without noticing that I'm not following her. But when she did notice, I was already trapped by these two bitches. She wanted to help me but she can't do that. Rules would always be rules and she needs to respect it. They laugh evilly and started to throw the water in my face. But before it landed to my face, the world stops. The water hangs to the thin air. And I didn't expect what happened next....

I erased those silly things coming to my brains and focused of today's dilemma. Linda screams with her lungs out to get the attentions to the other ladies and even the maids. They run to our direction and watched the ladies soaked with their dresses. They were so ruined. Their make-ups and everything. No time for changing. The water is everywhere. The floor is so wet. And some girls laugh for astonishment but stopped after hearing the head maids coming.
