Chapter 19: Devil Rides

Cedric Carter Lafuente POV:

Welcome to the castle full of blood and evil.

The castles are filled with so much sharp spines and it didn't help us when those vines are moving like crazy aiming to hit us. It seems they have brains to move every direction we had. The guards of Arthur surrounded the place but once the vines hit towards us, we hide as soon as it reaches us. My sister is not with me. I lost my sight of her. I didn't know where she is? But more importantly, I really need to focus right now. The vines keep slamming everywhere. We couldn't enter even in the entrance of the castle.

Arthur and his guards tried to wreck the vines but every time they did it, it produced a green gas that made five guards full down to the ground. It's poisonous! Good thing that we covered our nose before the scent reaches us.

We are running out of time. We need to hurry! I shouted to them. I need to use my last weapon to enter. Our speed is not enough, we need magic! I used my magic. "Let us enter!" I raised my hand and the power is slowly entering my hand. The vines of sharp slowly open but after a couple of minutes it closed. We need to be fast before it closed. We used our speed to run and enter the castle of vines. After we entered it closed instantly. Whole place was filled of darkness. I could smell too much amount of blood. It sucks me to know that, that monster killed everyone in the palace.

We aimed to destroy the tree of eternal life. Once it destroys, all of it will be back to normal. But where could it be? I know it found to the highest pick of the castle but, this castle I can no longer know what way to be taken first. There's so much door. And every door, I know there's a lot of traps there. There are ten doors to be chosen. Yet, we can't even guess where the exact door to be taken first. I tried to use my magic but it didn't effect. I know especially the reasoned why. These tricks created by demons and we have limitations as an enchantress.

We divided ourselves into tenth groups and every groups there are ten members. As leader's we guided our members to the assigned door we are going to enter. Its pure darkness and we don't know what else in this place. We held ourselves, getting ready for the possible attacks. I could feel my members are vanishing before my eyes. Their slowly taken by a monster hidden in the dark. I heard so much screams and a lot of spilled blood under my clothes. I used my magic to form a light. Once the monster keep approaching me I used every strength I have to kill them. Using my skills and strength of swords I could kill a beast. It is our only way to fight.

Lots of beast keep approaching me. They really wanted to stop my plan. I guess their protecting something, not allowing us to enter the highest pick of the castle. We run so fast and every time they stopped us I slain them using my sword. I could feel our strength is slowly decreasing but the beasts are not stopping in attacking us. Their powerful than I thought. Out of hope, we run to the exit of the door. Once I got out there. I saw remaining leaders out of the door. Like me, their guards are also missing. Instead of ten it turns to five, three and much worst the leader his self-remained only survived. They survived but with lots of bruises in their body.

"Welcome to my castle." Bash is laughing to our direction. His eyes are flaring with fire once he saw us entering his throne. "I should welcome you to the job well done!" He claps his hand trying to intimidate us with his power. "But you're still not yet done." He laughs evilly.

I clinch my fist trying to put all my energy into it. Once I got the chance, I'll use my power to defeat this monster.

"If I were you, I'll never do that. Unless, you wanted to hurt your little sister."
