I rested my eyes for a bit, enjoying the comfort that the bed and sheets provided as I waited for Tyce to return. I should probably be getting up, since this was Zaiden's house and all and we probably would be returning home soon. I wasn't ready to tell my parent's about what happened, and I briefly considered not telling them. They would find out eventually however, and either way I knew they wouldn't be thrilled to know I didn't tell them when I was hospitalized.

I laid on my back with one arm resting lazily above my head and the other flung over my face, blocking out the daylight that was beginning to fill the room more and more as it got later in the morning. I glanced over at the alarm clock that was on the bedside table. Apparently it was already 9:30.

"Hey Grif," Tyce called, poking his head around the door as he cracked it open. I lifted my arm. The sight of Tyce's bare chest would never cease to interest me that's for sure. I felt myself get turned on before I could even help it. "Zaiden and the girls made breakfast from the stuff we had leftover. There's some bacon and eggs," he said. I yawned and sat up in bed. "Do you want me to bring you some?" I shook my head, flipping off the covers and sliding me feet onto the floor. I stretched my arms once more and wiped my eyes.

"I'll be out in just a minute," I told him, giving him a small smile. He grinned back and nodded, then closed the door behind him. The urge to pee suddenly overwhelmed me as I stood up, so I hurried for the door and crossed the hall to the bathroom. Luckily nobody was in there so I quickly did my business. Once that was done I examined myself in the mirror. I looked much better than I had yesterday, although I still looked like I was tired. I splashed some water on my face and fixed my hair a little before opening the door and slipping into the hallway.

"Good morning!" Hadley and Paisley greeted, while April shyly nodded.

"Hey there Griffin! Did you sleep okay?" Zaiden asked from the kitchen as I took a seat at the small table next to Hadley. Paisley sat on the other side of her. Tyce was helping Zaiden and April in the kitchen. I realized I wasn't wearing a shirt, but after thinking about it for a moment I noticed Tyce and Zaiden weren't either so I didn't mind too much. We just gave the ladies something to look at, I chuckled to myself.

"What?" Hadley asked curiously. She must've heard me.

"Oh nothing," I replied.

"Here's a plate Griffin. Go ahead and dish up whatever you want. We have plenty of food left," Zaiden said as he handed me a plate. Hadley had some eggs left on her plate that she was busy devouring while Paisley sipped on a mug of what I assumed to be coffee.

"Did you all eat already?" I asked, slightly embarrassed.

"Just me," Hadley said between bites. "Paisley just wanted coffee and Zaiden and April have been cooking still," Hadley explained. I elbowed her playfully, and she looked at me in surprise, her eyebrows up. She gave me a grin and visibly relaxed, as if she was glad things seemed a little more normal after the events of yesterday.

Tyce came over with a plate full of scrambled eggs and spooned some onto my plate.

"You want some right?" He asked.

"Yeah, thank you," I said.

"You're welcome," he replied, pulling out the chair at the end of the table that was next to me. April came over with an empty plate in her hand and sat down on the other side of the table across from Paisley. Zaiden followed her and sat down across from me.

After everyone passed around the plate of eggs and dished up, we all reached for some bacon that Zaiden had set in the middle of the table. A comfortable silence settled over us as we ate. Tyce occasionally shot me small grins when our eyes met, causing me to blush like crazy. I swear my cheeks might be permanently a shade of red after this breakfast.
